I love kids, I can't wait to have one, or two, or three!......Hopefully before I'm 30.

Absolutely. I do agree though that unless you're prepared to be selfless and make your kids the number 1 priority you shouldn't have them. If you're worried about the affect they'll have on your life, inconvenience etc then you don't quite understand the point imo and you probably shouldn't have them.

Yeah I would like to have kids if I find the right one. I'm good with kids and I really like them too. They like me too which helps (when I lure them into my truck).

I thought you already had a kid...

Kids don't become interesting to me until they can form complete sentences. I don't even think babies (infants, < 1 - 2 years) are very cute like most people seem to. I do like kids once they start talking more and stop crying at the drop of every hat, though.

:p

This all depends on how they are raised.
My bf has two nieces and I love them both but one is totally spoiled and cries at EVERYTHING and must have the command of the room and will get cranky if the slightest thing doesn't go her way (2.5 years old... been this way since I met her at age 1)

His other niece I met when she was 1.5 years old and the only time I ever saw her cry was when she fell and boinked her head. She's a happy baby and takes things as they are - she's very rational for a 3-year-old.

I think kids are fascinating at the toddler age -- you can practically see the wheels in their heads turning as they process thoughts and try to get it out in baby talk. Just watching them absorb everything around them is amazing.

Plus, I never thought I'd feel this way, but when a young kid decides that you are their friend and trusts you with stories and silly little secrets, it's the most rewarding feeling ever.
