I would for sure. But I still can't picture it happening. A few more years I guess.

Not for now I think when you have children you stop living for yourself and start to live for someone else , I have one more goal to reach so in the future if I reach it I will consider it but for now no ing way. :whip:

I really don't have my life planned out. I don't know where I'll end up living, who it will be with, how much I'll be earning and so on. I would never have kids unless I felt they would grow up in the right environment and in financial security.
But having "a family" is not really there in my life's objectives. Maybe that will change. |

People always have one more goal to reach, or one more level of financial security to achieve. Desires and wishes perpetually expand so that your current means are always short of satisfying them.

I thought I hated kids all my life, then my best buddy made a few with his better half.. Now their son is four and a half and their girl is about two, damn I love them sooo much. I was very uncomfortable with them in the beginning, but then they just grew on me. I guess most human beings are programmed to start liking them sooner or later :p

I already have one. He's a boy and he's 9 years old. I am probably going to have another before I turn 30.

This is very true but i've worked my ass off so much in the past , that i feel really happy with what i 've accomplished in life so I really want to give it rest on " keep pushing it ", I don't want to fall in the category of what you are talking about for the rest of my life .

I think "constantly striving for better" is overrated. What about being content with what you've got? That doesn't always have to mean complacency or stagnation, imo.

I just think it's bs when people say/believe that just because one is content with what they've achieved, that they haven't attained their best. I don't think people need to feel a constant sense of being unfulfilled in order to be motivated/to grow/etc.
