| No kids for us. Both have too much of our own to work through and don't want to pass any of it onto offspring. Plus, I really don't think I'd want to bring kids into the world as I see it these days - part of me hopes I'm wrong, but I wouldn't say the future bodes well for upcoming generations. |

Wow, a whole hundred years out of how many of human existence? You mean with the advent of the industrial era, when the human population started to explode, when waging wars and razing other countries' natural stores suddenly became really easy, when quantity went way up and quality went way down?
The world we currently reside in is not a particularly rational place, in case you hadn't noticed.
Irrational is spitting out a half-dozen children without the means to support or educate them, not deciding to not have any. |
