i didn't mean that it's wrong to want to have your own kids. pretty sure i didn't say that. i want my own too. but i DO think that people who are strongly against adopting offer conditional love only and lack compassion. |

Let me clear it up for you:
We males are always at risk of being cuckolded (tricked) into raising another man's child. So you're damn right we have evolved to be very particular about paternity. Paternity is a huge deal to us, and we're gonna look at it carefully. |

"Evolutionary lag," haha. You could also say women are evolutionary retards for being wired to care for any old infant even if it is not genetically related to them. From a biological viewpoint, why spend your resources on other people's kids? Evolution does not care about your indiscriminate humanitarian compassion.
