I've actually been been doing quite a bit of research regarding vitamin D3 supplementation and its effect on the immune system, on my own, in addition to the links you've provided and I find this to be extremely interesting. |

yeah but youre forgetting what h1n1 is man. its just a flu. our bodies have more than sufficient defenses against it. so getting that particular strain shouldnt be a hassle.
but, as elendil said, lots of people are not prepared because...well lets face the facts. overweight, lazy, fast food nation thinking its easier to get a shot than to live healthy. as scary as it may sound to some, its still just a flu.
theres no guarantee that shot will work, you still can get sick with it. and, like you saw, there's some pretty ing scary side effects |

they will quarentine you whether u have the flu shot or not. At any signs of a fever or flu like symptoms its an automatic 6 day quarentine. And they can do it because they are communist. |

But what I'm saying is that last year I got the flu shot and it MADE me sick. So do I get the flu shot and maybe get sick again, or not get it and risk getting sick? |

thats up to u i guess.
I wont be getting it due to the fast paced roll out and lack of testing. Also the use adjuvants which was actually banned until the swine flu. Funny how they suddenly say its ok!

LOL dude - relax. Your education does not by any means make you an "expert" on the infinitely complex functions of the human body - the understanding of which changes on a constant basis. Don't be an idiot? I could say the same for you, with a statement like the one you just made.
If this is the case, by all means - provide some sources of valid research proving guaranteed infection with swine flu. I'd like to look a little deeper into it.
The virus requires an environment hospitable for it's existence to take firm residence - by proper internal cleansing and keeping your upper respiratory tract (where this virus takes root) washed out and flowing into the stomach (where it would readily be destroyed) your body can take care of the rest.
A ready host gives a welcome home to any invader.
It goes both ways; there are too many wanna be doctors making unproven statements about flu protection here to ;) |

It's the flu.
You build up your immune system so that if you come in direct contact with it, and become infected, your natural biological defenses can kick in and do what they were designed to do... Kick the living out of that pesky flu virus.
Most of the people who will end up getting the H1N1 vaccine don't need it, and it comes with its own set of risks that at LEAST equal doing nothing. Ignoring those risks because you might, maybe, get the H1N1 virus, and then you might, really maybe, if your luck is really bad and your immune system is , and the stars are aligned just so, become so ill that you need hospitalization and might, super maybe, because I read it in the paper, die, is no reason to camp out in a tent to be first in line to get an unproven, untested, potentially dangerous vaccination against a virus that appears to be nothing more than a mild strain of the flu. |

so my doctor's office is not giving the seasonal flu shot to anyone younger then 65 until December, and apparently I cannot get it without having the H1N1 shot they're giving everyone now
wtf?! I just want my regular seasonal shot! :mad: |
