If the gov't increases spending on health care to buy all the flu shots our taxes increase. We pay for it one way or another (but probably not $20)
Jay is probably angry because he wont get one yet he is (indirectly) paying for it...
it IS free because we don't have to pay for getting it, but it's not free because we already covered it with our taxes, I think this is what I tried to say
and all the vaciine was already purchased/made, I didn't see any increases in taxes?
I dare Jay to complain and demand his flu shot taxes money back
it IS $20 for people without OHIP coverage

we pay for our health insurance through taxes, therefore we're entittled to a FREE shot
in NYC it's $20

nope I did not
as a doctor he's in the immediate risk of contracting the H1N1 virus, therefore he should be protected
even if in his professional opinion, the swine flu is not something to be overly concerned about? Sorry but the shot is a choice as it should be.

one regular flu shot... one swine flu shot..
Somehow they couldnt combine the two... I guess due to the fact that this whole charade is designed to make a lot of money.

The fact that most fo you go to nightclubs frequently and go to school should be a little more concerned, don't ya think? Closed environments with high concentrations of people are a vile nesting gound for the spread of virii.

its not mandatory in ontario for doctors. Its recommended. Frankly im surprised that this nanny state (province) doesnt force them.
Personally it would be my grounds for resignation.

Then how would they make money?
Did you know Canada ordered 50 million doses for 33 million people?
Explain that one!

The flu concerns me about as much as a common cold. So im not worried about getting it.
If i were elderly or chronically ill it would be a different story.

What Doctors Say About the Flu Shot
When asked why they didn't get the flu shot, most doctors responded with a list of excuses: "I was too busy," or "It was inconvenient with my full schedule." Medical professionals are encouraged to promote flu vaccines, so it's rare to find a doctor who will speak out against the ingredients that go into vaccinations… and their side effects.
lol

Sure because if they do speak out they are blacklisted. Lame excuses by those doctors illustrates my point. If doctors who are in hospitals daily are "too busy" to get the shot... Obviously they arent "too busy".
