you know the fusaluge? the tail? did they just vanish?
I guess that is too much to ask...
A hollow bullet flying 500 miles per hour into a limestone surface is going to shatter almost entirely into completely unrecognizable pieces. If you want to imply a missile hit the Pentagon, then let's get some things straight then.
1) Who launched the missile?
2) From where was the missile launched?
3) Where is the physical evidence of a missile strike?
See, 9/11 truth theories can seem to make sense on the surface, but dig just a little deeper, and they all fall apart.

So far, so good?
OK, let's move on:
But whoever was controlling the plane did not manage a direct hit; rather the plane hit the tower toward a corner and at a shallow angle, and comparatively little of the jet fuel entered the building, most being consumed in the fireball.
Since the plane and its fuel initially shared a common trajectory, after impact the metallic components of the plane followed much the same path as the jet fuel. This path was through one corner of the South Tower. The steel beams bearing most of the load were located in the center of the tower, and thus most of the metal from the plane would not have hit the central steel beams, which would thus have remained largely undamaged by the impact.
Thus neither the plane impact nor the fire damaged the South Tower sufficiently to account for its collapse, so the South Tower collapsed from some other cause.
The fire in the South Tower was thus less intense than that in the North Tower. But the South Tower collapsed first, at 9:59 a.m., 56 minutes after impact, whereas the North Tower collapsed at 10:29 a.m., 1 hour and 44 minutes after impact. Had the fires been the cause of the collapse then the North Tower, with its more intense fire, would have collapsed first. Or, put another way, had the fires been the cause of the collapse then the South Tower, hit after the North Tower, and subjected to a less intense fire, would have collapsed after (not before) the North Tower collapsed.
Good post, glad you brought this up.
Just want to add some useful information that contradicts the official story as we were told (coincidentally left out of the official report, cough). The fires in the WTC towers have been exaggerated immensely and infrared images captured by Carol Ciemiengo on 9/11 prove it.
FLIR Images
Once again according to evidence that was conveniently left out of the official story the fires were not anywhere near as hot as they claimed they were, nor did they burn as long as they said they did.
Edna Cintron who is the lady standing in the impact zone in the picture below would have melted if they were telling the truth and the fires were infernos as they claimed. Not the case and not even close, just more lies.

Regardless of all the arguing on here..I find images like this to be so utterly gut wrenching. I have seen this photo many times before but every time I see it, it truly breaks my heart. Regardless of why and how, these people did not deserve to suffer like this and spend their last moments in such terror...sigh...:(
This documentary also has brought me to tears..for those interested and haven't seen it..
sorry to hijack..continue with the debate..:)
oops..that was an unintended pun..

you know how gut wrenching this whole thing is to me as well?
i was inside one of the towers just a year before that in the summer when we visited, i was 16y old and me and my family were there on the highest floor in the building looking over NYC, to get to the top (110th floor i believe) we had to switch 3 elevators. The place was huge.. being there and seeing it come down on tv literally ripped through my 17y old heart because i remember how massive this structure was and how many people were around the area when we were there (felt like millions), it was devastating.

the pictures above are of planes that basically fell from the sky....they were not flown into a building.

The official story states American Airlines Flight 77 crashed into the Pentagon.
A piece of scrap metal conveniently left on the front of the lawn is not evidence, nothing matches it to the flight. The short film released with a few frames shows no plane in it either, if you have ever been caught running a red light with your car on camera a court or judge would throw the case out if your car did not appear in the recorded footage.
If American Airlines Flight 77 crashed into the Pentagon the onus is on the government to confirm and provide 100% irrefutable evidence that confirms it was in fact the same flight or plane. After all it's another one of their never ending suspicious 9/11 stories which does not add up.

How many of them have published a single article in a PR journal, substantiating their support for a 9/11 conspiracy?
Zero. None. Nill.
Over 500 posts and none of you have referenced any such article. You know why? Because it does not exist. Because on the other side of the fence, those who categorically contend the 9/11 conspiracy theories are not just a few names on a short list--they are the over-whelming majority of the scientific and academic community. Whose collective work, on the other hand, is published, is reviewed, and is scientifically sound by all standards.

What an excellent way to summarize the view point of all 9/11 conspiracy theories: utter and complete hearsay without any evidentiary support.

What do you have? Grainy pictures, youtube videos, and a hunch? :stongue:
I bet you've never even been to the Pentagon. The Pentagon is surrounded by interstate highway and commercial and government centers. Hundreds of people saw a plane hit the Pentagon. But you are so caught up in your 9/11 conspiracy religion, even that doesn't persuade you.
Do we really need to continue to discuss this? Neither side is giving in, and, while I think it is extremely important for people to question things, I think this discussion being started on 9/11, as well as the pictures being posted are just a bit too much at this point.
I am not posting this to take sides, but, as a New Yorker, I cant tell you how horrifying it was for our city to see such things as people jumping out of the buildings and being crushed by the structures. When I am reminded, the sadness still weighs in my heart so deeply, as I do love my city and the people in it with every fiber of my being. Even though I wasnt in the buildings, I felt like someone had attacked my home and family....
I understand that most people feel a similar sadness as I do, even from countries afar, but I still felt compelled to write this. Some people have visited and taken their pictures, but when its your own city tumbling to the ground, when you see FIRSTHAND, the people of New York; the days following, and the sadness in their eyes, it is nothing I can ever explain.....and nothing that can ever be relayed to the people watching it on TV :( :( :( And to know personally, people who's lives were lost just makes it that much more devastating :( :( :(
It was a terrible day, but, I *choose* to remember, and I *choose* to question....but I also choose to RESPECT and know when enough if enough. We can not forget that while this is a political subject, its also an emotional one.
I have read most of this thread and people make points on both sides, but I think it is really time to wrap it up.....Its damn near October anyways, and no one has gotten anywhere in this discussion, so hopefully I wont be ignored *too* much ;) :)
