its because of the unique design of the towers. here is your typical steel framed design
compared with WTCs 1,2 &7
which is better illustrated in this photo:
notice how the majority of the steel is on the outside of the structure? this is the main reason the towers fell the way they did.

I live in Seattle, there are two buildings designed by the same designer as the WTC here, with the same exoskeleton structure (they look like mini-WTC towers).

Where do your facts come from? The only reason you consider your points valid is because they run contrary to the popular belief, which in the case of most conspiracy theories is not just a belief, but established scientific fact. You are just as bad as people that believe in God, I mean... ing use some logic! You do not. You counter "logic" with this inbred idea that what is told to you and everyone else is a lie, simply because its told to you and everyone else! Did you ever stop and think for a second that maybe, JUST maybe, what is told to you and everyone else, and everyone else accepts as normality, MIGHT just be the truth?
No, of course not, because like religion, these theories toss out any sort of fact and rely on a blind faith that what you are told by any source of power is never correct. So really there is no reason to argue with you because you are beyond arguing with. You do not accept rational thought, or logical thinking, instead choosing to blindly refute anything that contradicts your way of thinking as being some sort of plot, or words from a patsy, or sheep. Anyway, just to bite at your comment about 3rd world countries being the only ones with building issues...
This was in the news here a few months back, they thought they had to tear down a 25 story apartment building because it was so structurally unsound, and it was only 9 years old.
Not sure what the current state of the issue is (that article says they dont actually have to, they can fix it, but still).

Fact of the matter is if you think that 9/11 happened the way it did chances are you will always think that anyone who believes otherwise is a "nut".
Anyone who lacks the evidence (or the confidence of it) to support their arguments will always turn and attack a persons character or beliefs. This is whats happening here.

Even if the two towers fell the way they did due to their construction, Id love to hear an explanation of building 7 coming down the way it did. Totally different construction, no direct impact of airliners (no fuel), and just a few small fires.

The fact that a claim has been made by anybody, anywhere, is enough for them to reproduce it and demand that the questions it raises be answered, as if intellectual enquiry were a matter of responding to every rumour. i learned quite a while ago that people that subscribe to this kind of fantastical thinking are unreasonable people. there is no point to having a reasoned, rational discussion. indeed its just not possible. so, throwing stuff from the sidelines is what's appropriate. unless they seem honestly curious about an aspect, like this guy:

7 suffered severe damage due to the collapse of 1 or 2 (i forget which, the one that was closer, ha). it burned, unfought, for approx 6 hours. according to mr fireman who was at the scene

Your opinion is stupid. It might not be a wrong opinion, opinions cant be wrong, but it can be monumentally stupid, which yours is.
You obviously have some sort of underlying mental trauma, trust issues, something like that?
How are your parents? Mother alive? Father alive? Did they divorce? Was one neglectful of you, did your father tell you he'd make it to your sports games and never did? Did you go to church? Did someone in power abuse you at some point traumatically? Were you molested? Conspiracy theories are all a sign of some sort of deep-seeded trust issue, so lets figure this out. It might be painful, but having one less stupid person would be wonderful.
