| I just recently heard that Oak Canyon is not secured($$). I know a dj's manager and he said the dj is suppose to play but might not if its not. maybe Go Ventures got ahead of themselves thinking it was a sure thing. doesnt matter to me, I wasnt planning on going to either party. |

Sure it's nothing because they are indeed different venues and technically different cities. Just don't get why that article came out two weeks ago.
Wonder if Oak Canyon wasn't secured (or they lost the permit) so they tried for Lake Elsinore and didn't get that? |

Really confusing article, especially since Oak Canyon Park is still listed as the location on the main website: http://www.monstermassive.com/2011/location/
Wouldn't Insomniac change it to "TBD" or something if this venue fell through? If the location is changed, watch the hotel rates for Oak Canyon Park drop like a rock...lol |

anyone on here go to Love Fest? I had heard 2nd hand it was not too busy...
I hate to say it but i don't think MM, if it goes off at planned at Oak Canyon, will be majorly profitable.
Go Ventures is going to be hard pressed to keep on throwing massives... Its really tough to get a good venue right now... no Coliseum/Sports Arena, NOS is locked down by Insomniac.... any other decent venues to hold 10K+ in the LA area that can go to 2 or 4am? hard to think of any... |

I personally wouldn't say that considering EVERYONE I know is going to AO and not Wonderland or whatever it is that is competing.
