remember a venue was never secured, so technically it was never "happening" at announced venue. Maybe i should announce a huge event, sell tickets, then "refund" when cancelled but keep part of the fees. everyone should be entitled to their full refund + something else. those now going to escape are stuck paying higher tiered ticket prices than they would have had they bought months ago. |

New Years soon. MM getting canceled was probably the best thing to happen, now it could be as magical as the 08 Armin Only. However, Goventures and insomniac, I'm done with massives |

since they did cancel MM 2+ weeks ahead of time and refunds are being processed... they didn't lose too much goodwill IMO.
with a decent venue and talent they will prob do okay for NYE. I wonder if they could use the parking lots that Giant used in downtown in the past for NYE... though the max occupancy there is only like 10-12K. |

sadly, that's probably true sine EDM is so mainstream now. Go VEntures failed me twice now in the last year (TAO--unorganized, huge cluster, 3 hour wait, and now MM).
I for one will never go to a Fail Ventures event ever again. |
