| Although I'm not a big Armin fan he surely rocked Beta on Sunday and I've always wanted to check out the massive production that goes into an AO event. I'll be there :toocool: |

holy f...finally, been waiting for this since last year..knew he was going to do it at nocturnal, monster or tao. did he say it on asot? twitter? |

None of the above.
I (and others who were in the room) heard him say it directly. He was asking where & how I've been (we've just gotten to know each other over the years...started by a TA dinner with him way back in 2003. Yeah newer TAs, SFTAs and LATAs would setup dinners with big DJs...and they'd actually try to come. Didn't always happen every time, but even when it didn't they'd at least call and say they couldn't make it. Prob would never see it happen today! I remember when Markus was gonna drag himself and Armin to a house party before they played at Henry Fonda, but Markus' flight got in late.) and I mentioned how I was in LA for the past couple of years and then he said how "San Francisco wins" and I was like "always" and then he said speaking of LA, he is doing an AO, 9 hours @ MM inside the Arena. I wouldn't have posted it just to be safe, but there were some youngins in there somehow acting all giddy they got to talk to armin up close (it was Tuesday night..the 18+ night) and by the the next morning, I saw the info had popped up on FB...so I say fair game to tell now.
Gawd, I prob sound big headed now. But that's really how it came out.
PS. A little Armin or Arminette is the way. Everyone should say congrats to him! |

When they used to catch people with drugs at events in the Netherlands, they would give them a fine, confiscate the drugs, and then allow them to enter the event. Too bad the drug laws are not as lax over here.. |
