I imagine GV has been trying to keep all this quiet because they are looking for a new location and will move the party if they can before cancelling it. Rare to hear anything until a new location is set.
That said, I wonder when they knew because on Monday that flat out DENIED the "rumors" and said it was happening at Oak Canyon Park and Lake Irvine. They either somehow didn't nkow or flat out lied...which would be bad. |

Either way this is a big mess and probably the beginning of the end for Go Ventures. |

I agree it seems likely they have been scrambling to secure another venue but its not good for the event to announce that publicly...
the fact that the Lake Elsinore meeting took place on Sept. 13th suggests that at that point they knew they would not be using Oak Park... I can't see a reason to bother petitioning the city council to throw the party if they didn't need a venue...
it looks like that venue in Victorville a few people mentioned is having some sort of halloween thing going on that weekend too which would probably prevent this from being moved there.
edit: just saw the post above mine.... still seems weird that the venue would state there is no party...
either way for those planning on attending i hope it goes off! |

James Event Productions OFFICIAL STATEMENT TO THOSE OF YOU SEEKING CORRECT INFORMATION SURROUNDING THE MONSTER MASSIVE EVENT: Clarification to all of you trying to get the correct information. James Event staff CORRECTLY informed all concerned callers when we told you that the event IS NOT TAKING PLACE AT OAK CANYON IN ORANGE. We regret that Go Ventures is misleading their patrons, but unfortunately we are not affiliated with this event. We requested that Go Ventures remove Oak Canyon and all associated James Event Productions information from their website by Monday. We updated our website today because they had not yet met our request. We attempted to contact their offices today and received no call back.
We have been blocked from Monster Massive’s facebook page. Their update on facebook today at 5:42pm was posted after our office closed for the business day. We wish Go Ventures the best with the event, wherever it is going to be held, and hope all participants have a safe and enjoyable time.
MONSTER MASSIVE IS NOT TAKING PLACE AT THE OAK CANYON FACILITY IN ORANGE and all guests will be turned away at the gate.
