Ye Shiwen is completely unstoppable, as well.
Watching these swimmers makes me bitterly regret having given up swimming (competitively). I have since taken up equally healthy hobbies of smoking and drinking. >.< |

| This isn't a subliminal shot at Lira, but I never use the terms north or south. Let's go Korea! |

At me? I don't even use the terms "North" and "South", I strictly use the terms Korea and Best Korea! I was just paraphrasing the reporters :p
:stongue:
This has got to be quirkiest team we've ever sent to the Olympics. Another one - Joanna Maranhao - was so nervous she literally fainted just a few minutes before her main competition (losing the chance to compete), and another judoca was so excited she was disqualified for violating a very basic rule (grabbing her opponent's leg). |

Someone replaced her foil with a real one, and she got supersad when she punctured her opponents lung and boob. |

This seems to be a real problem for brazilians competitors. I mean, when they finally got there in the Olympic Games, there's so much expectations that their psychologic is affected tremendously.
Just look at Diego Hypolito (Gymnastics), his is one of the best in the world, a world champion etc...But he was so ing nervous that for the second time in the Olympic Games he failed badly.
Where are the psychologists and all the crew behind these athletes? They need a lot of support before starting the competition. |
