It explains their frustration, being in Trafalgar square and all :p

Our 4th gold medal is in for windsurfing RS-X men, Dorian van Rijsselberghe. There is no need to start at the medal race on Tuesday and he didn't need to finish in the last 10th heat. Reason to do this is for giving room for a clean battle for the 2nd and 3rd place.
LOL: Race walking is the most stupid sport as the rules say:
quote:
The first dictates that the athlete's back toe cannot leave the ground until the heel of the front foot has touched. Violation of this rule is known as loss of contact.
Yes, they need to see it with the naked eye, but none of the walkers walks according the rules, even a stupid vid of the gold medal winner at youtube shows:
Just check at 10 seconds:

Bolt is from another planet :) starts looking around after 70 meter or so...
Would be great if Churandy Martina would win a bronze medal for us tonight, but beating Asafa Powell and getting in the final already is awesome. A Dutchman in the final men's 100m :)

Russian weightlifter Tatiana Kashirina :wtf:
She made breaking her own world record look easy.

Congrats to our friends across the pond! Glad to see you guys doing so well, though if you could maybe slip into second every once in a while and let us surpass China again, it would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks, man! I'm sure I speak for all Brits, when I say that we're feeling very proud right now.

Over my dead body :p
I think China's ended its main gold seeking opportunities now, so I'm sure you'll manage to get yourselves on top of the medal board over the next day or two.

While we're at it, I'm sad Guo Jingjing is no longer competing... she made diving even better to look at :D

I'm wondering, are there other countries which party in a similar way after winning a medal like at the Holland Heineken House with 6000 people in London? If yes, I would be nice to see some of it.
Okay, you shouldn't win too many medals I guess, but it's fun to party isn't it?
London also is a very nice place to party.
Ready for watching the 100 meter :)

If you guys will just give us a few Golds, we'll forget all about you burning down our House :p
They definitely won't do as well in Track & Field as us, not by a long ing shot, so hopefully we'll get on top then :)
