I've never taken E.

Why someone would want to up their pleasure sensories, I don't know.

E is cheating yourself... it forces you to have pleasure instead of naturally creating & feeling it. The sketchy depression that ensues the day after an E dosage should be a sign that the drug has offset your body.

If someone around me is on E, it's all good. I may try to admonish them, solely on the basis of what I've seen long-term E usage do to people...

I know a few people who have/had steady "raving" E habbits. For months on end, they consumed E's every weekend. Now, they are emotionless zombies, slow witted, and it takes the joke of the year to inspire some laugther out of them.

I had my pot smoking hayday. However, now that my life has shifted into 6th gear, my smoking habbit has been left in the dust. Good riddance!

Thank you ;)

I think you've partially answered my question to WHY people do it ;) I think this is well said - I like how you phrased it ;)

Just out of curiosity for all you educated and well knowledged drug experts what are all the ed up azn's at the guv on?:thepirate

In one sentence you say you've never taken it, and in the next you try to talk all about what it does to you. :wtf:

For your information, the "sketchy depression" i.e. "hangover" only really affects chronic users. Many, including myself, have felt great for a week afterwards, long after the physical effects wore off. When the afterglow wears off, things are just back to normal. Not everybody has harsh comedowns or depression... I think only a small percentage do.

Please, do yourself and everyone else a favour and don't "admonish" someone while they're rolling. That's basically being a jackass and ruining their good time.

No doubt chronic ecstasy use can lead to depression, but I really don't think that's the issue in question here. I am sure that the majority of those people are aware of the damage they are doing to themselves, just as with cigarette smokers.

Starsearcher: the really ed up people are on a variety of different drugs. Coke, crack, PCP, GHB, DXM, and Ketamine come to mind.

Their is no use trying to argue these points.

There are people in the world that will always try to put down what others do to make themselves think that those people are bad in someway.

If you in your mind think that you are better than someone else because they use a chemical in moderation and you don't, then you are just fooling yourself.

We can argue about the effects of MDMA on and on. I personally don't like arguing these things because nothing is conclusive either way so there is no point.

I think a better question would be, "What drugs aren't they on?" :eyespop:
