People are people, religion doesnt make them any stupider than they wouldnt have been without it :) its just an easier outlet.
Its like how fads sweep through middle and highschools. Its not that the fads have intrinsic value, its giving them an outlet for all sorts of teenage bull.
The only reason shes probably freakin out is that she considers "atheists" to have dens of iniquity where he probably thinks that "religious" people are uptight and dont let your kid have any fun or grow up

ah but thats only true if we take into consideration that the universe is infinitely expanding.
another theory is that it's expanded, and now it's coming back together (or will at some point) I think it was called the rubber band theory :wtf:

technically speaking, the size of his dick stays constant, but it gets further and further from the relative points like galaxies, stars and planets in universe. that means that his chance of sleeping with an extraterrestrial beauty is smaller and smaller. |

well because the galaxies are still all expanding at hubble constant in all directions its still expanding :p redshift owns j00r dick;
and yes its all about relative space, but you wouldnt be the same "size" if all of a sudden every other human and building on earth pentupled in size. You would in fact be "smaller" and the reference point becomes the important factor. |

it's not gonna be coming back for another tens of billions of years, but yeah, thats the theory, that in another so many billions of years, there will be the big implosion and everything will come back to one superenergy and supermass point. |

depends on if its 4d flat, 4d sphere (which on an infinite scale would appear to be flat), or 4d pringle/saddle. One keeps expanding, the others come back.
