this is a broad generalization, but i would guess most wars are about power and religion has historically played a role that leveraged a lot of power so it was thus used as a tool to start wars. |

Wow. We should introduce our mothers. Mine is such a medler. So my half sister (mind you, not my mother's daughter. Actually from my father's last marriage) is moving in with her boyfriend and my mom is talking about how she can't believe their parents consent to this and . I guess she's gonna live at her boyfriend's parents house. I'm not saying I agree with it, completely, as she's 18, but it's not my place to meddle, and definitely not my mother's. They have no blood relation at all. I find it ridiculous. :wtf: |

| For the record, my mother is FAR from a “by the book” catholic. She goes to church every Sunday, but she only likes to go because it’s a beautiful, peaceful place where she can gather her thoughts and just reflect on the week and just have some sort of inner peace…sort of like yoga. Trust me, she works for a law firm FULL of phony Christians and they piss her off..her boss always tries to get her to join his church, and she gets annoyed. |

Your mothers gotta chill & let his brother bring his kid up the way he wants. Im sure he will work something out with his wife. If your Uncle was Muslim & tried to impose his ways of your Mom raising you, you Mom wouldnt like it at all. Im sure she will get over it soon since its family. |

Just want to say that this is a bit unfair. Only fanatics promote these things and priests that molest kids have nothing to do with God. They're just twisted and it's unfair to blame their faith, which obviously faltered there. |
