Follow the Koran or you are an infidel = peace
Israel belongs to the jews because it is their "holy land" = peace

give me a ing break...

Homosexuality isn't even a damn sin. It's all a bible misinterpretation, i'm forgetting the whole story but i'll post it up when i find it. And why the is it bad to do buttsex anyway?

Priests molest kids, yeah like what? 1%?

Last time I checked, sperm aren't living or sentient, neither are eggs.

Most Christians in my area don't really care if you follow the Koran. And what's bad about it?

Israel doesn't belong to the Jews. Mexico doesn't belong to the Mexicans. There should be no boarders.

Not all Christians believe in what the RIGHT WING church does.

There is one flaw in your mother's thinking. You will recall I told you about my own journey of faith. In the end, despite all I had learned about other religions I found that the religion I was raised with was the one that made sense to me. This is because we will alway be partial to the things that we were familure with as children. Your mother is right in that the child should be introduced to faith and that he should be allowed to choose his faith (even if that is no faith), however, this introduction must be belayed until after the child has reached the age of reason if the child is to be allowed to trully choose his own faith. In the mean time perhaps it would suffice to teach the child critical thought and introduce him to more earthly philosophies that can better be understood by a child.

Just want to say that this is a bit unfair. Only fanatics promote these things and priests that molest kids have nothing to do with God. They're just twisted and it's unfair to blame their faith, which obviously faltered there.

+1…

I know there is a lot of stereotyping when it comes to catholics/Christians, so don’t confuse the s who claim to be good Christians, with the belief system (and what it promotes) itself.

not darkness

it's mainly a selfish religion.

why bother about caring for other people?
me= #1

THAT is satanism

Then you're contradicting yourself like my bible contradicts itself :haha:

well, i was raised a roman catholic up until i was about 13, thats when i disassociated myself from all religion. ive realized that i need to research and study different type of religion before i can accept something of my own. yes i was raised as a catholic, but how do i know that is it for ME ? i stated going to church before i can make decisions on my own for just about anything. so i think its very unfair to force ANY religion on a child. i believe something so holy as practicing a certain religion, should be a judgement made individually rather than forced on by family based on history.

My problem with the idea, is that if you follow the bible to the letter, that is exactly what it promotes...so if you're gonna say you're christian but you dont think gays will burn in hell...then...well you're going against the word of god...

...which means you will burn in hell aswell lol

No one has been able to prove either case.

Where I live it is extremely taboo to question the existence of "God". People hold their beliefs quite strongly and are afraid to hear anything that could harm their beliefs.

I tend to believe there is no God and that it was invented by man to explain the existence of things in the past and these stories and beliefs have been passed down from generation to generation, however, there is still that doubt that maybe there is some God like "force" that has created us, but no one can prove it, and I doubt anyone ever will. I remember when I discussed this with someone they told me that God doesn't make Himself known so he will know who the true believers are, its rebuttals like that what bother me the most about religion. No matter what question you have, what doubts you have, they will always throw some type of roadblock in your way

Gay's AREN'T going to burn in hell.

Why would a loving God kill someone for something as stupid as that?

And like I said before gay=sin is a misinterpretation which i'm still looking for.
