Nope, tis predominantly black, which is why Nelson Mandela was voted into power after Apartheid was abolished and black people were allowed to vote.
Regardless of what skin colour is predominant, it is a 3rd world country, without all the safety nets that the UK and US have.
I've been subjected to gun fights and the like, gangsterism was pretty harsh over there, specially with all the northern african drug dealers taking over.
I've worked hard to get where I am today. :) |

hahaha... this is gonna sound so ed up and bad. i was super drunk when i fell asleep and well, i can't control my dreams, damnit.
background story: ok so anyway every Thanksgiving i go to the same place. i have this family that i basically grew up with since i was born, and they've been friends of my family forever. they have this huge house and every Thanksgiving they invite all their friends and family over for a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner. if you've ever seen Home Alone it's kind of like in that movie where everyone is having Christmas dinner together before they leave for vacation.
dream: ok so you and i are at this house together for Thanksgiving and we're sitting in their den with a bunch of other people. i didn't know in the dream why you were there with me but it was like "alright thats cool"... you were chillin on this couch and i was sitting on the arm of the couch and it kept shifting, like everytime i moved my leg the arm of the couch would start tilting or moving up and down. finally i say you to "this isnt cool" so we go into the dining room to see whats happening in there. there's a turkey sitting at the head of the table and huge pieces of cornbread on every chair but no food on the table. so i freak out even more and i start realizing that instead of the humans eating Thanksgiving dinner, the Thanksgiving dinner was going to eat *us*... you start laughing hysterically and im like "wtf are you insane? lets get the out of here"
so we run out the backdoor and i don't know what happened next but all of a sudden we're in the backseat of a car making out.
then we're back in the house sitting on the couch again and im sitting on your lap, and there are no more fears of getting eaten by a turkey.

Well, I'm no longer technically South African, but I can appreciate the implied humour :p
It's quite bizarre, the second people find out I grew up in SA, taking into account that I am a young white male, they think I am some kinda KKK worshipping racist, when in fact growing up in those turbulent times has made me so laid back an accepting of people in general.

Actually porn was VERY restricted up until the late 80's, the naughty books had stars covering the nipples and never showed anything down there.
That all changed from the early 90s :D |
