There was a bit of techno at Eclipse, but mostly at the alternative stage. However, D-Nox played a pretty minimal/techy set and so did a few others. The stuff that seems to get played later in the morning/early afternoon was pretty good for the most part.
Pheek and a few other DJs also played on the Friday night, although I wasn't there for that.
Although, I think I'd rather hear more of the techy-psytrance type stuff than straight up techno - The Boshke Beats type sound (I put metalogic into that category)

So, awhile ago Platform dropped a 'hint' that they would be doing 1 more Cherry Beach before the summer is out.
Labour Day weekend is usually the last Cherry Beach of the summer, no?
Does this mean, Platform will be doing the Labour Day Cherry Beach?

No, Platform is not involved with the Promise event this monday, and unfortunately there won't be another Platform Cherry Beach this summer :(
There was a possibility of the Sunday parties being extended, with a Sept 7th party, but now the Paul Kalkbrenner movie premier is that day followed by an afterparty at the Drake Underground (with a 4am license!)
