Though some techno Carl Cox would be awesome

You're in the techno thread. I'd prefer him to play Techno.

If you want to hear a recent-ish Cox set where he plays mostly techno, I'd recommend his set from U60311 from earlier this year.. May I think. I am pretty sure I posted the link somewhere. :)

I'm sure Carl is taking note of your preference. (And notes how Toronto crowds is into house)

Not sure I'm afraid... I had to laugh when I heard him drop a Peggy Lee remix of Fever.. my mom used to listen to her all the time.. hehe
Also cool around 1:45 when he grabs the mic... he's a performer for sure and sang that track as well when he played Montreal in January!
Rush is also probably one of the last techno DJs that I know of who plays 100% vinyl.

Cribby was asking me about this site last night so I thought I'd post the link here for those of you unaware...

www.paxahau.com <-- archives section

No direct downloads, but hours and hours of streaming (real audio) techno sets recorded at various Detroit parties since about 2000. Right now I am listening to Misstress Barbara @ the necto, March 7/02. pretty pumpin stuff!!

Adam Beyer's Essential Mix starts in half-hour on BBC Radio 1. It's 9pm our time and a great way do some pre-partying before I head out tonight.:toocool:

I thought the first half of the set was better, because it felt like it had a little more life; it felt mysterious, fun, and trippy.

As for the all the fans, here is his new essential mix:
