| In terms of big names being revealed later on (when the price goes up and VIP tix are probably announced), I hope it's a good sign that Booka Shade happens to have a random US visit while on an international tour that weekend. (colorado may 29th). It's a real random stop. |

I think this partial line up was to appease the techno-heads and the electronic afficinados and settle them down, get some pre DEMF excitment and hopefully drum up some money with pre-sales, probably need a good bit of cash to set up DEMF and presales is the best way!
Later on, I expect a more commerical, hipstery, big-name kinda acts to be announced post WMC to drum up the big hype closer to the date and get the regular peeps excited...
LOL, it is just less than 3 months away and look how excited we are lol! Rooms booked last month, presale tix bought day of release :stongue:
I am excited for some commerical/hipster/"fun" acts to be announced as well...
don't want to be in front of the the beatport stage all afternoon contemplateing Agoria's use of whitenoise and his questionable choice of 4th concurrent track/loop in traktor.. (and I love Agoria!)
I want to just rock/rave out with two cans of beer and get messy too!
Thats why Carl Cox last year on Saturday was sooo much fun!
A nice mix/blend of good deep intelligent electronica with fun balls to the wall house/techno all weekend long!
And some funky groovy vibes for when you just want to chill, socialize, people watch and enjoy the weekend outdoors... |

whats up TO, NYTA here showing some love.
well, im just about to start booking my hotel (i know i know, im slacking). but first, i wanted to ask for some suggestions since itll be my first time and i want to book a nice good decent hotel nearby. also, where a couple of you guys will be staying as well so eventually ill get to meet some of yous.

well, im just about to start booking my hotel (i know i know, im slacking). but first, i wanted to ask for some suggestions since itll be my first time and i want to book a nice good decent hotel nearby. in addition, if by any chance anyone happen to know any promos they can share so i can cut down the costs as much as possible that would be sweeeeet!! and lastly, where a couple of you guys will be staying as well so eventually ill get to meet some of yous and the party wont just end at midnight at the fairgrounds.

edit: seems like all u guys booked the double bed rooms pretty much everywhere lol how strict are the hotels (doubletree, westin cadillac, courtyard) letting people to the rooms? |

have u stayed there before? would i be able to sneak some guests in bc they only have a king 2 room suite which accommodates only 3 guests, i might come with 5.
edit: k, im booked at the Doubletree. hope to meet some of ya :toothless |

| I booked through hotels.ca which had no increase in the price for additional guests (ie. 2 guests or 4 guests), so I just put four... I think the doubletree site had $10 each extra guest ontop of the initial 2. |

What's it like crossing the border to get to your hotel?
I have some free hotel rooms right across at Caesar's windsor I'd like to use up. Is it a simple/speedy process to cross? Can you walk across? ... drunk?
