That's what I thought. There must be something else going on around that time. Or else other people booked REALLY early! lol
I'm with you on wanting to be where friends are. That's why I'm waiting on some sort of consensus in this thread before I books. At least you can cancel if you want to switch hotels. |

Doubletree non-refundable rate is $109 or refundable rate is $119.
It is just on the other side of the festival site and appears to be just as close as the Ren Cen - just on the other side. |

I'm sad that The Ren isn't booking this year.
From stumbling on an Indian wedding(who were playing beats, I swear!), to the food court in the basement, to the multiple levels of escalators/elevators, to electric fences, to the cars on display, to the view of the DEMF grounds, to the broken elevator of randomness, that place was all sorts of awesome. :( |

That's interesting. Someone must have canceled b/c I checked online last night and then also called them as well.
I'm going to go with Double Tree though...they'd probably have more rooms for friends if Courtyard IS or is ALMOST booked up.

ya bunch of us staying at the holiday inn express. was good enough. 10 min walk but $112 a night for basic...
just reserved a suite 2 bed, pull out couch for $144 a night |
