The Blkmarket guys are being pretty vocal about it on a lot of message boards.
I still say they are rumors until confirmed but they have a pretty good reputation.
This weekend is going to be shambles.
We start with Marco and Onur in NYC before we even get to D-town. You all have Adam and Ida - WHOA. |

I've never really been to any of the after parties. I'm assuming you don't have to get tickets until the day of? |

Ahhhhh my guess was correct
Looks like Booka Shade will be among the list of new artists announced when the full lineup comes out sometime soon (hopefully)
They have it marked down on their myspace schedule.....

Pretty awesome set in 2007
Looking forward to this.... |

Wouldn't mind some sources on this Villabos stuff! Forums, chats, anything!!!
Definently hitting the Old Miami party this year, no way i'm missing it...
And BOOKA SHADE! :eyespop: I was so pissed when I missed them when they were at DEMF last because I couldn't go to DEMF because I had a splint in my nose lol...
Now as for staying in Windsor...
If you have no plans on getting absoloutley ripped, have a designated driver,no after parties, don't mind paying for parking, toll back and forth everyday and annoying US border gaurds 3 times over the weekend who will no doubt hassle you as soon as you mention that DEMF or "Technofest" is your reason for visiting....
Or if you're crossing with Tunnel bus, each of you will pay $5 a crossing, $30 over the weekend.... and I hated waiting of buses, after midnight, you may wait an hour or so, maybe more... same with coming over depending on the time.
I'm in Windsor too, could stay and eat for free essentially, and we're still taking Hotel route, to many years of hassle not to...
Plus if there is many of you going, it's better that you can go back and forth as you please, take naps, go home early, go late, go back to the hotel to change...
So my suggestion, is that if you're just doing it to save a few bucks, you reconsider...
:)
Sure, stay in Windsor, safer, quieter, easier, cheaper probably too... |

If folks are think about staying in Windsor, they might as well stay at The Milner. I stayed there in 2008 and it was a good bet. Management even let me park right in front of the hotel and let me know the exact time that they start checking around to ticket people. It's just old. Like real old and small
And in terms of parking near the fest if necessary....I've never had to pay for parking. That shelby/fort area is always a gem to find a space day or night
Take that back....I stayed at the Renaissance Center (overrated) last year so I used their parking structure. Now that I couldn't avoid.
Back to The Milner....quiet,inexpensive, safe, people mover around the corner....couple of after parties w/in walking distance |

Nah, actually just a few days ago, though. Found a couple rooms left through Kayak (in turn, through hotels.com). It was weird, though, they weren't available for saturday to tuesday, but when i switched it to friday (4 nights), a few popped up. Could only get a King Bed room, but it should be fine since I'm not exactly sure who, if anybody will be accompanying me. It is a two room suite, though, with the sofa bed, which is just as good as two beds, imo..... I got a decent deal, but not nearly as good as it would have been had I not been a dumbass and waited so long.
EDIT: Just checked, and they are still available, as well as rooms at the RenCen, Hilton Garden, and Westin... among others.
