The offer starts tomorrow (April 19th).
Your welcome Mikey. I thought of you when I got the email. |
Cheers Lisa! :)
I just tried and I also get $113 like Gera did. Perhaps I'm being a bit too eager lol, the day is only 5 minutes old haha. I'll try again in the A.M.
But this is going to be so useful for so much more than just DEMF, I might as well book the May long weekend in Montreal and piknic electronik adventures tomorrow too.
I owe ya one! ;) |

Windsor-Toronto on Tuesday after DEMF was $56. How did you get $40? |

Oh I just tested with Toronto-Windsor... strange that it costs more to get back |

| So, $170 return fare for two people. It's a good deal for those who can't rent a car and/or want to avoid the hassle of driving, but factor in extra cab fare and having to be on Visa's timetable and I'm thinking it's going to be better for us to rent a car. |

Economy - special fare or Economy - supersaver fare?
The supersaver fare is $40. I don't understand what the difference is... |

It seems that supersaver is refundable for 50% service fee whereas special fare is not. I wonder why supersaver fare is cheaper... |

***UPDATE ON TUNNEL CONSTRUCTION***
I asked the border guard today how long the construction will be going on for and he said 2 months! There'll be a short period where they are stopping construction and they'll be back at it again. I assumed this period would be for the May long weekend, but I asked and he said that they will be doing construction work during Memorial Day Weekend.
That means 4 lanes are closed coming into the U.S.
If you're driving...USE THE BRIDGE! It takes 5 minutes to get downtown from the bridge.
If you're taking the tunnel bus...expect to be in the tunnel for 45minutes (probably longer due to the long weekend).
Unfortunately I'm going to be taking the tunnel bus, unless I can find a ride across :( |

There should be a link where you can find out the differences between the fares. The cheapest ones are non-refundable/non-exchange. The more expensive ones are exchangeable and refundable for a cost. And the most expensive ones are exchangeable and refundable for free. |

| Train ticket for the way back has been purchased. Thanks for the heads up Lisa. $40 to get back on the train is an incredible deal! |
