A light shower would be nice, but not late Sunday or on Monday IMO. Old Miami is all grass, so it won't be that fun to dance/sit/lay on wet grass.

:p @ berlimnml hype machine

At least all of the Detroit guys are already *in* Detroit.

Got our groupon yesterday and will be hitting up Angelina for an early dinner when we arrive tomorrow. The sweet sounds of Woody McBride will be the first music we'll hear upon arrival at Hart. Aside from being an incredible DJ, the guy's an amazing person - health, socially and environmentally conscious and compassionate to the hilt. One of our car mates was telling me that a few years back he put his home phone number on his site in case fans needed someone to talk to and didn't have anyone else to turn to.

Agreed. I wasn't looking forward to the plastikman show either but i'm VERY happy that we'll get to see him do a dj set! :) twice!

I admit I'm not a fan of the "plastikman" sound.... but I am still looking forward to the entire experience that Richie will put together that night.... If the visuals are anything like that on the DVD portion of the DE9: Transitions album... this will be really cool....

Sucks Villalobos won't be making it as I was looking forward to checking him out... Am though excited to see a Richie set (or two) as well...

Hello,

I am interested in taking your reservation. I had 2 rooms booked at the stupid Holiday Inn Express.. and guess what? - They do not have my reservation!

Please email me at [email protected]. I'm at work all day and I'll give you my contact information from there and we discuss further.

Thanks a bunch!

Hi,

Please email me at [email protected] if this is still avaliable, please!!!!

yes it sucks that Villalobos won't be making it, but if you know his history with bookings it comes as no surprise.

And honestly, he is WAY overrated anyways...

Hawtin's dj sets have been hit or miss the past few years, but when he's on - look out!

They should book no-show-lobos in Windsor and have everyone cross the border for a party there :tongue3 lol

not too surprised that he's got issues AGAIN but I still was super excited to check him out finally...

t-minus 24hrs till departure! this is gonna be one long day at work......UGH  :toothless

No way man. I have definitely seen him play bad sets, but I've had near religious experiences hearing this guy play at DC-10 and Amnesia.

This is very true. As a matter of fact, he's more miss than hit, but when he's hit, he's untouchable. I don't think he has any choice but to play the best set of his life on Sunday night or there are going to be many, many disappointed people.

Hawtin and Ricardo have always been a bit of hit and miss, but when they are on-point its damn near unmatchable.

The Richie vs Ricardo set from Mutek still gives me chills when I listen to it (so happy that set was recorded).

PurpleHaze
BTW I have one extra 3-day DEMF ticket if anyone wants it...$45

PM me if you're interested

Ricardo is def a bit overrated, but I think that comes with the whole thing that he hasn't come to the US for a while, being a bit of a music genius, plus he's a very hard booking to get anywhere in the world. But you all have to admit, when he's on, his sets are nothing short of a f*cking revelation.

I doubt Richie will be a miss @ home... but you never know. Like you said, I'm one of them hoping he better play the best set of his life. I've seen Richie miss way too many times. Combine that with the fact that I'm stuck with the boat tickets, and I will be very pissed off if he sucks.
