I was gonna write something long but fuk it.
Yes I am hurt by it. No I did not want him to suffer and I knew exactly all the reasons why he chose to end his life before I got a "summary" of his note. He never got over his best friends death - it affected him till his last breath. So maybe that is why he put my name first on his suicide note? He knew it would be hard for me. I have no doubt about it. I stopped being friends with him for 4 months when he last attempted to OD on pills. Years before this.
He planned this for months. The signs were there. I just thought he was being a nice and sweet friend bringing up memories "It made me remember all the good times we had after that, and we had so many" - and right before he passed, that's exactly what he was doing. Looking at old videos of him and his friends.
I really wish he was around a little bit longer so he can see me graduate from his old college too :(. I had to accept why he did this but I still think he and I had more memories to be made. So yes.. I am hurt and will be hurt. It was totally and completely unexpected.. and Nou - he was receiving help. He just already made his decision.

I think people who commit suicide mention it first before finally doing it, it is a cry for help not necessary looking for attention when their cry for help isn't answered they then finally do it. But there are factors like if you killed someone or did a crime that will send you to prison you might skip the cry for help and just do it without letting anyone know but I don't have the education you have in this issue so I feel I can be wrong. But a cry for help can be more than a post of TA, it can be withdrawal from friends and family and basically things people don't fully notice until the person is dead. Basically a cry for help is vast and much more than a letter or telling someone you are going to kill yourself.

Yes, and the way people attempt to cry out can also lead to self-justification for actually going through with it. They might not be making themselves obvious enough so when people do not respond its their justification. "No one cares to help me, so I should just end it."
