ive experienced 2 suicides in my family. You don't hear me running my mouth. One with a distant cousin i barely knew, he died playing chicken with a train when i was a kid and one very recently, who i have to say if im going to die, i want to do it the same exact way.
nou knows all about anything and he really needs to watch what the he says when he states opinions on things he knows nothing about *cough* DA |

| Nou is a royal twat who enjoys being one. So telling him off seems to be a waste of time. Out of respect of DA/Melly I've tried to do my best to say as little as possible. This isn't the right place to have an intellectual debate about suicide. Take it to the PPD section if you need to prove your intellectual prowess. |

I've read the last few pages of the thread and just want to get what everyone's arguing with Joss over before I actually take a side in this:
Joss: Suicide is a selfish act that has far-reaching consequences for the victim's loved ones.
Everyone else: Suicide is an understandable act and its victim is sometimes better off and people, even loved ones left in the aftermath, ought to be able to understand this, Joss, you clueless cvnt.
I realize this is a drastic over-simplification leaving out some rather insensitive and tactless things Joss, himself, has posted, but... I really want to make sure I have a basic yet accurate understanding before I continue.
EDIT: Are my assumptions correct or is there something more than that? |

Yes, I know nothing about it because it happened in my family. I also have friends who have had friends kill themselves and friends usually are able to recoup a lot quicker than family. The bonds of friendship are often weaker than they appear to be Eric, and are more easily severed in tragic circumstances.
And Eric, your family members didnt commit suicide, they were obviously stupid gino wops who did something stupid and got themselves killed. That is not even close to the same thing. |
