He's a lefty too! Boy... I get pumped thinking about it. He's still got some fuel left in that long arm.

3 way trade????

Is there any chance Beltran doesn't sign with the Yankees? His idol is Bernie as they are both from Puerto Rico. Plus, his startling playoff run has about priced him out from everybody except the Big Green Machine.

i predict beltran in pinstripes by next year.

it's cute to see them smile once a in a while LOL :clown:  :haha: :tongue3

I belive, yeah I believe you will lose next game :disbelief

Don't forget Mike Stanton from the left side and rubber armed Ramiro Mendoza (much better before). Quantrill always says he needs to pitch a lot to be most effective. I say how many games does he need to throw to start being effective. I knew once he came in it was OVER. 89 mph tailing fastball into the middle of the plate... hmmm, I wonder how far that will land? That's guy's arm is shot!

The facts are that they aren't gonna get rid of Gordon. Steve Karsay will be in the mix somehow and they will add at least one more reliever.

I like Vlad's possible starters. They look interesting but I'm not big on Milton even though he's a lefty.

They need a guy that isn't gonna melt in New York. Randy is the only one I know that won't. I don't think they'll get him but I hope....

IF they get Johnson and Radke (plus Beltran), they might as well not play a season in 2005 because it will be over before it starts.

Oh you Yankee fans. So silly...

But as for Beltran. The more I htink of it, the more I think he WON'T be a Yankee. Sure, he would fit there and sure he'd be paid a fair sum of money. I just think that someone else will pay him more and make him THE star attraction, rather than going to the Yankees where he'd be one of many star attractions.

But the question is, does he want to sit at home and watch the Yankees win the WS on his big screen. Or does he want to be one of those stars on the field holding the trophy and "KISSING THE RINGS BEEEOTCH"! :tongue2

From what I've read 100 times from various people within the baseball world, there is one team that Beltran will end up with and that's the Yankees.

He even said it was a dream of his to follow in the footsteps of Bernie Williams. If it's a bidding war, there's no topping the Green Machine.

I think the question we need to ask is where in the lineup is he gonna hit next year.

Eric Milton and Cristian Guzman for Paranoia Man....

Shamez214
Eric Milton? The same Eric Milton who whined and complained because he was left out of the AllStar game, despite his 12 wins? Oh yeah... I guess he forgot that he had a 4.50 ERA at the time. What a .
