| If the Sox go on to win tonight and wind up winning tomorrow, I think it will be a VERY ugly scene at Yankee Stadium. Hopefully there's 55,000 clasy fans there tomorrow... |

Lets see... Brown, Vazquez, Sturtze, Gordon & Mo for Game 7. Well what a hell of a way to break the curse of the bambino - to be the first team in baseball history to come back from a 0-3 deficit and against the one team you hate more than anything and that you couldnt get past to get into the WS for a LONG time.
Boston beating the Yankees to get into the WS will be bigger than them actually winning the WS. |

No it won't be. If the SOx make it to the WS, they NEED to win it all. There is no consolation prize in beating the Yankees. They've made it to the WS before, they just need to WIN it. |

no series like this should end sooner than 7. regardless of what happens tomorrow night you yankee fans have to give a hell of a lot of respect to boston for putting up one hell of a fight.
and i am glad that despite the negative stuff that was thrown back and forth in this thread in the first couple of pages, after that, everything settled down and a lot of great baseball talk went on in here.
will more history be made tomorrow night? we shall see...
