That's a good thing (sort of), I hope you guys get through this, and hopefully both sides can come to a diplomatic solution. (probably be hard seeing the hizollah leader is saying they won't stop attacks, and Israel is saying they will continue for at least a week).
You seem to be the only / most level headed Israeli on these boards.
The PLUR thing was kinda tongue in cheek. I am just amazed at how someone who is into the trance scene - which is one of the most obscure, non-mainsteam musical cultures globally - can harbour such undenied pure hatred for others. It lacks conscience really. |

was reading about Jews on Wikipedia the other day, and the semites are as you say apparantly only people of a region, and could be muslim, christian or jewish.
plaus it said that there are the Black jews of Ethiopia etc, who would not be considered semites, but are Jewish. |

the anti semic was born last century when german jounalist wrote it first in connection to jews. |

The problem with your " THEM" statement, is that your refering to photo's of children who for the most part don't select their own wardrobe, and those that do have been raised by a cycle of hatred and violence burned into their psyche by thier parents/gaurdians. It is NOT the fault of the children. they may grow to be the next suicide bomber, but that is because they are being told it is a good thing to do.
The photo of the Football team... what's that for? A response to my football etc comment? how many of those footballers have blown themselves up at an Israeli cafe/bus etc? i don't know, but I'd guess none. But you still want to get rid of them I suppose. If not, I applaude you, but then I would expect you to extend that to the children, for they may be the Palestian Football team that wins the 2018 world cup (In Australia... I hope:p). |

well then it looks like it has been confusion somewhere...i guess anti-semite could be a term that has become specific to Jews through common usage, but from what i understand, it is slightly misleading. |

i dont give a about their football team.. even if they will win the world cup and i wont care.
just understand one thing. i dont have problem with palestinians.. i have problem with palestinians using weapons.. who will useweapons againts my country will get weapon used againts him, that the deal. |

That's fair, but the children aren't fighting this conflict, they are being photographed for propoganda purposes. Sure they are being 'trained' in a juniour military situation, but if they were playing with toy cars and dolls, they would grow up in a more normal mindset. i'd bet the people who run these schools are pretending they are playing to the very young.
I've always said that a world without guns and religion would be more peaceful. |

I'm not blaming the Israeli's for this, I'm defending the attacks, which I deam wrong, against the children, and the attitude being held through this threads pages by some that they should be killed.
If all the money that was being spent on weaponry was instead invested in the rebuilding and infractructure of Palestine, the people (ie not Hamas but the civilian population) would be more welcoming. Not all of them hate Israel, that's just something some people like to think.
As for the reasons being that it's not their land it's ours etc, well stop living in the past, and start looking to future, trying to build a solid foundation for living side by side. It's like that letter someone printed out, the 'war' is lost. Israel will never just pack up and move so the only way to stop the killing on both sides is to work TOGETHER. The sooner everyone gets that into thier heads, the sooner I can have a holiday on the nice looking beaches of the region. |

we have a draft that (on paper) forces every man and woman to serve for 2 or 3 years here in israel, almost all of them have been trained to shoot firearm.
theoretically and legally, we don't have a choice about it, we're the property of our nation for those 2-3 years and there's (again, legally) nothing we can do about it.
if i'm not mistaken the lebanese and the palestinians have a choice regarding joining the army or the hezbollah.
supposing that's true, according to your philosophy all israelis should be killed when they reach the age of 18 because they all use guns at that age, semi-automatic rifles even, we are all trained to kill.
