Diane Keller for President!
Karl Rove on governors for President:
| quote: | | On CBS' "Face the Nation," Rove jabbed at the governor, saying "again no disrespect to Gov. Kaine. He's been a governor for three years. He's been able but undistinguished. I don't think people could really name a big, important thing that he's done." |
| quote: | | She has been reforming that way they do politics in her state while obama all he does is talk about it. |

An open disdain for the limitations of executive authority is just what I'm looking for in a Presidential ticket candidate.
| quote: | | She has been taking executive decisions while obama and biden all do is debate in the senate floor. |
Oh, so she is more experienced than McCain too? He's been on that same Senate floor after all.
| quote: | | what more experience do you want? |
Preferably some experience dealing with issues that aren't local in nature. Like, you know, foreign policy, national security, the economy. Stuff like that.
The fact that you think this is a smart choice speaks worlds about you. |

and the fact that you didn't RTFA is telling with you as well...
| quote: |
The Obama campaign canceled the visit with wounded troops at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany, Obama says, when he learned that the Pentagon would not allow him to bring along a retired Air Force major general who is serving as a foreign policy adviser to the campaign. Obama says that "triggered then a concern that maybe our visit was going to be perceived as political."
|
So as we can see, he in fact, didn't visit the troops because he was worried it would be, 'preceived as political'.
And what, giving a sermon to 200,000 Germans on the street regarding America isn't?? |

| quote: | | How bout, when she visits the ME she actually visits the troops? |
Are you talking about the Middle East or about Germany?
There's a tremendous difference between giving a speech that is intended to be political and using the troops as a political maneuver (which would then be condemned by people like you).
The Pentagon forbid him from going, so he didn't go. End of story. Even McCain backed off this one when he realized he was wrong. Pay attention. |

| quote: | From the Republican State Senate President Lyda Green:
"She's not prepared to be governor. How can she be prepared to be vice president or president?" said Green, a Republican from Palin's hometown of Wasilla. "Look at what she's done to this state. What would she do to the nation?"
I repeat: the Republican State Senate President. From Palin's hometown. I mean, the ads just write themselves. And the Democrats:
Anchorage Democratic state Sen. Hollis French said it's a huge mistake by McCain and "reflects very, very badly on his judgment." French said Palin's experience running the state for less than two years hasn't prepared her for this.
And does McCain even hear himself?
"She's not from these parts and she's not from Washington. But when you get to know her, you're going to be as impressed as I am."
When you get to know her. He met her once before he interviewed her last week. |

Sorry, I would have thought you could have figured that one out...
Oh well.

|
Why make the distinction? Wasn't it all one tour?
Why that speech in Germany anyways??

Why would it be? I'm curious...
In case you haven't noticed...he's a politician... ;)
(everything any politician does is for gain)

Yes, and he was also told by the Pentegon that he could go with this Sentate staff and not his campgain staff.
Pay attention. |

Conservatives are just pissed of their man doesn't get the kind of lovin Obama gets everywhere he goes. In America or around the world. You won't see 200,000 Germans show up for a McCain speech. |
