| TechnoTexan, I agree with most of your counter-argument. I would only add that NONheterosexual marriage would also probably lead to less HIV and STDS - which will lead to less burden on our health care system. We all need better education about safe sex, because the number one cause of divorce among heterosexuals is "irreconcilable difference" (in other words, it's often - cheating). People who "play the field" are the most at risk - whether they are "gay", "straight", "bisexual", "married" or "unmarried". Currently HIV infection rates are about 50/50 heterosexual/NonHeterosexual. UCLA studies indicate that even the best condoms break up to 2% of the time. Would you want a gun to your head knowing it had a 2% chance of having a bullet in it? I know of too many husbands who cheat on their wives without protection, and too many wives who have cheated on their husbands. Where we're heterosexual or NONheterosexual, it takes much more than "marriage" - it takes love, loyalty, patience and living up to our word, but marriage, fortunately, is a good start for about 50% of us. |

BTW everybody. My friends and I are on our way soon to "Monster Massive" - I'm the pervert who wears the "Masturbate Proudly" www.self-evolution.org T-shirt. If you see me, please say "hi" - I'm very approachable and I love everybody - and you're next....j/k..
Peace,

| Heard reports of a LOAD of Yes on 8 protesters lined up and down PCH over the weekend. I'm pretty sure the Mormon church is busing in people from other states (Utah and such) to 'help their cause'. So pathetic how religion can dictate governmental influence. So much for separation of church and state. |

WTF, this is bull. Hopefully the full results swing the other way.
I'm wondering of there was a chance that a lot of people though you had to vote "yes" FOR gay marriage? |
