"the good shall be called bad, and the bad good".. this moment in time is the beginning of that era.
so guess what.. don't worry too much about this.. I in all actually I do think it will pass.. give it about 10 years or so.. |

it actually started several years ago when the good (priests) started to be called bad for molesting little boys. ;) |

lets try looking at this way...
lets say some muslim views were pushed onto you, ie written into our state laws...i mean, you are not muslim, but you are forced to do as what this muslim view says. do you think this would be fair or right to you? |

I agree, and the term for that is apostasy.
I guess I shouldn't tell you about how the people of my own church worked against the relationship between my wife, my girlfriend back then to cause confusion which shyed me away from going to church until this day.
Or maybe I should go into the details of how my wife's brother was molested by a church leader, offering him porn at age 12 and money so he could watch him have sex with another girl, or offering to pay for a prostitute.
Or how the pastor of that church uses people to work for him and make money by preaching about how " if you work for God, he will bless you" which helps him pay for his mortgage of his home in a nicer side of town, while his church is in the ghetto. i could tell you the stories which would totally discredit the belief, but it was man that played it that way.
I could go into those details, but it woulldn't change the fact that what is wrong is wrong. Yeah, i've been around the block and back.. |

how is the different from you trying to impose your views of redefining marriage?
this mess is like trying to define 1 + 1 = 2, someone woke up one morning and wants to change it to 1 + 2 = 10, there is no logic, therefore there is no logic in defining marriage. the requirementis a man + woman.
As for rules being pushed on Christians, this is nothing new. During the Roman rule when Ceasar put out a law that persecute the founding christians of that time. Why? because he said he was god, an no one would worship anyone else but him.

You contradicted yourself 100% in that passage. No one wants to change the equation of 1+1=2. They want to say that each "1" is ambiguous in the eyes of the law, but not your own personal view.

a + b = c. a=man b=woman c= marriage.. you guys want to toss a D in
there, but D can't be put in with A, because C goes before D. you get my point. |

No we don't want a d. We want it to say a= person 1 and b= person 2. That is all.
