What!? How is that what happened here?!

dude, come one.. it obvious money was the pulling factor here, GAYS have money and friends in high places..thats why the judges were able to pull this stuff.

If our hispanic comrades had money, aka illegal immigrants, they'd all have citizenship right now, but isn't the case.

you see, our government is permissive with its laws when you flash the mighty dollar.

Do they scrutinize the Saudis for citizenship?, of course not, oil = money. yet you've heard that i forgot how many of the terrorists of 911 were from Saudi.

Gays have money....and that has to do with this how!? The Mormon church is one of the wealthiest churches in the world, iirc, only second to the Catholic church. How does money have anything to do with it?

If you read up on why it is now legal, it is because there was a ruling regarding interracial marriage that, even though it was race related, applies to this as an equal rights issue.

:stongue: :stongue: :stongue:

That's like saying pot smokers in California have money and friends in high places, hence why medicinal marijuana clubs are legal. :wtf:

yeah, but who has more politcal pull? I believe the Vatican does, mormons don't. That is another driving factor.

True to a certain degree, its how I got my citizenship in this country, I came in from Europe and I had no problem getting legal in this country and I know why. $$$$$$$$$

You'd be suprised how many fags are running in this country, most of them are living the "straight" life. In case you haven't noticed in the past few years how many famous faces have come out of the closet should be an indication of how deep the rabbit hole goes, in this case the anal cavity. :stongue: And yes, I can say FAGS! LOL

Dude, that is such bs. The Mormon church can EASILY choose a stand on some political thing and you then have 40 million people voting on it the way the church wants.

You really need to get off this OMGTHEGOVERNMENTISAFTERUS bull.

ok, this is just silly. wealth has NOTHING to do with sexuality. i promise there are as many (percentage wise) gay CEOs out there as there are poor working class individuals.

who is open about their homosexuality is a different story. i'd imagine more financially secure homosexuals are out of the closet than those who aren't financially secure.

btw, do some research on studies about gay incomes vs straight incomes. there is nothing conclusive that suggests any large variances between the two.

i still want to know how judges ruling a marriage ban to be unconstitutional equates to hypocrisy of government. this hilarious notion of yours would be put to rest if only you knew how our government worked--specifically the hierarchy of law and the role of the high court in interpreting legality of a voter initiative. if the voters passed an initiative that made religion illegal, would you call the court hypocritical or accuse it of being bought off because it did its job of overturning it on the grounds of california constitutional law? if you understood how the system worked, maybe you'd be less cynical of it...

See there's this idea that people have where they think gay men tend to have loads of money. In a way it makes sense. Imagine a guy in his 30s that has a good paying job, we'll say 6 figures. Now let's say he doesn't have to worry about paying for kids, or child support, or saving for college of any kind, paying for stuff for his wife (if he does...it still happens people :p) etc...now multiply that by two.

Another example, Sex In The City beat Indiana Jones 4 in it's opening weekend. Gays control this country!
