his solution is to nuke everybody...to which he thinks is more "blunt" than child-like.
its truly disgusting and absurd to which i weep for the future of mankind.

problems aren't solved without solutions.
The solution was for both side to no longer exist. ;)

apparently and appropriately it does since all the major players in the region are very hands off of the entire situation. which is a reflection of the moral and ideological bankruptcy of Hamas and Iran.
this is a war of perception as much, if not more, as it is a hot war of attrition, and Israel has been losing that aspect of the war since, well, forever. control the perception and the people you are refering to, the extremist groups, non-government entities, clergy and their followers, Palestinian sympathizers all over the world become ad hoc soldiers in that war and the numbers become overwhelming.
we end up with this. this thread in particular, where everbody forgets who Hamas and Iran really are and what they are willing and capable of doing in the most horrific and inhuman ways.
if you accept that this has been a neverending war of perception more than a war of attrition then what you have to ask yourself is is the perception able to be changed? of course it can be changed. it might take a while but surely it can be changed. Arab governments don't fight Israel anymore. even some of their proxies have stopped waging war on her. we're left with these s and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Take away the outside influences and it will go back to a nationalist independence movement.
The problem still comes down to Person A took land from Person B and Person B wants it back.
All the religious over-tones just go to make the issue more complicated and harder to solve.
Look at how long the American Indian independence movements have lasted. Not nearly as violent, but there are still active groups today.

Maybe the people there shouldn't have voted in their own demise?
It certainly looks like either pride or arrogance, whichever it is, they're hurting (and killing) their own people.

I bet you any money that after all of this Hamas will remain in power with more support.Perhaps thats what Israel wants?since 99% of the time their so called strategies comes back and bites them in the ass later.
Of course they're going to stay in power, Israel isn't there to supplant them. They're after the guys with the rockets and those that plan it? Get it yet?

here we go again with 'iran is soooooo powerful'. if iran didn't have the 3rd largest proven petroleum reserves in the world, your government would have been toppled already. the powers that be have determined that disrupting the world supply of petroleum is far more costly than allowing saber rattling of the current iranian regime (and the potential risks associated with the threat of a nuclear iran).
