I told you guys: Don't mess with Israel. You have no idea what its capable of. Israel isn't playing by the rules b/c it's fighting a very real war with the Iranian govnerment. The Iranians NEVER play by the rules.
It remains to be seen what Israel will ultimately decide to do with Iran. Anyone who thinks Iran stands any sort of chance of destroying Israel will be proved wrong. So you guys can cry all you want about innocent lives lost, but as long as you continue to support Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran, most of the Western world won't do much aside from the occasional semi-condemnation of Israeli "aggression". |

Israel is a joke. Iran has newest Russian weapon systems, it has nothing to be afraid of. |

Actually, not to completely distort the subject of this thread, but Tehran has a huge Western counterculture and is easily one of the more liberal and intellectual cities in the Middle East. Not that the White House would ever acknowledge that. |

As far as I'm aware (and you cannot proof it) S-300 is far far beyond any Western anti-missile system nowadays.

I'll agree on the intellectual aspect of Tehran. That's genrally been true for Iran as a whole for generations.
As for liberal, define liberal. Yeah, it might be more liberal when compared to backwards-ass Yemen or Sudan.
Tehran was a lot more liberal up until the 70s.
It's definitely not as liberal when compared to cities like Casablanca and Rabat in Morocco, Manama in Bahrain, Amman in Jordan, Beirut in Lebanon, or Tunis in Tunisia. These are some of the more liberal cities in the Arab world.
Tehran is also not as liberal Dubai in the UAE, Kuwait City in Kuwait, Cairo in Egypt, Doha in Quatar, etc.
If you want liberal cities go to Istanbul and the Turkish Riviera.
Of course the most liberal and intellectual city in the Middle East is Tel Aviv... |
