i'd assume so, i spent a few months in military jail as well. as for soul searching, i did plenty from right here at home, and as for travel, no short trips or anything like that, but i am moving to melbourne permanently on february 3rd. :)
Would a plucky Swede be joining you?
*edit* saw that answered in the cor...
Also on your comment. Some people want it more than others when they want it back.
The Natives in the US got casinos... what are the Israelis going to give the people of Palestine?

OMG I KNOW RIGHT? It's like pishaw...the people in Germany voted for Hitler too and then those British bullies had the NERVE to invade Nazi Germany!??!? HE WAS FREELY ELECTED PEOPLE! And that GAVE him the right to commit genocide. Likewise since Hamas was elected, it automatically grants them the right to constantly throw rockets into Israel and then cry "rape" when Israel retaliates, because you just CAN'T mess with a country who ELECTED something into power! So wrong...

Different on many levels. Hamas is a bunch of punks that shoot home made rockets that hardly do anything to Israel.
They aren't rolling over Poland and into Belgium and France nor could they ever do anything like that to Israel.

Hamas is a proxy of Iran.
Iran has considerable influence on Lebanon - The Hezbollah now make up a third of all governmental seats if I remember correctly. Iran also has considerable influence in Syria, and a growing influence on Gulf-rich states like Qatar. And let's not even get into Iraq...
Furthermore, a lot of money put into the banks of Dubai also comes from Iran, which is part of the reason why sanctions on Iran havent been very effectice.
BTW, those "rockets that hardly do anything to Israel" are still rockets. If a crippled person tries to shoot you with a gun, even if his aim is weak it still doesnt change the fact that his aim is still to cause harm. A proportinate response to the Hamas attacks would be to fire 6000 bombs at the Gaza strip indiscriminately. That's how many rockets Hamas has fired on Israel in the past few years.

And killed how many?
How many LGB's and 155mm Howitzer rounds have been fired? Mavericks launched? All of that in just the last few days?
I am sorry but there is no comparison at all.
When Hamas fires home made rockets with the explosive power of a couple hand grenades (granted they do have some larger ones) and they randomly hit a target someplace in Israel its the same to me as dropping a 2000lb laser guided bomb on a Hamas stronghold that happens to be in the middle of a neighborhood. Those 2000lb bombs do a -TON of damage to everything around them.
Also I have been seeing what looks like a disturbing use of white phosphorus rounds against civilian populated areas.

how many Jews has Hamas killed since 1987? are you really asking that? if not thats what you should be asking.

really? see this is the kind of naivete and ignorance of history terrorists like Hamas depend on throughout the world in that war of perception i was telling you about. they obviously own you, philsophically speaking.
here is what people in the South of Israel have had to contend with on a day to day basis since 2003. watch and learn:
that was an Iranian made GRAD rocket in the middle of what looks like a normal, sunny evening. no warning, just BOOM and your house and whoever and whatever inside of it vaporized. thats how they live, dude. waiting for the next rocket. thats not a way to live.

Congratulations on proving Godwin's Law.
Godwin's Law (also known as Godwin's Rule of Nazi Analogies) is an adage formulated by Mike Godwin in 1990. The law states:
"As a discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches one."
You've practically just negated your entire argument by evoking the Nazis.

And how did he do that exactly?
"The rule does not make any statement about whether any particular reference or comparison to Hitler or the Nazis might be appropriate, but only asserts that one arising is increasingly probable." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godwin's_Law

Reductio ad Hitlerum
Reductio ad Hitlerum, dog Latin for "reduction (or argument) to Adolf Hitler (or the Nazis)", is a modern informal fallacy in logic. Reductio ad Hitlerum is rationally unsound for two different reasons: As a wrong direction fallacy (a type of questionable cause), it inverts the cause–effect relationship between why a villain and an idea might be criticized; conversely, as guilt by association (a form of association fallacy), it illogically attempts to shift culpability from a villain to an idea regardless of who is espousing it and why. Specific instances of reductio ad Hitlerum are also frequently likely to suffer from the fallacy of begging the question or take the form of slippery slope arguments, which are frequently (though not always) false as well.

First, it says on wiki that the logic fallacy assumes the form of "Hitler supported/promoted/had/was identified by X, so X must be evil". I don't understand how's that has anything to do with negating Jake Benson's argument.
