i have never made a chutney to be honest, but i think i will attempt one this week. I certainly eat it enough. Report back if i come up with a good recipe after a lil research.:)
Yes Adam, towel off the excess marinade to prevent burning. You just want a light coating, not huge globs of the stuff. If you let it marinate long enough, all of that flavour should be in the meat:) |

Sweet. I want to make it before the weekend...so get on it. I'ma do a little searching of my own, too. |

it can't be that hard, it is basically a salsa with different ingredients.
I'll probably make it tomorrow as it is market day for us. Tonight i feast on beer and the blood of a live ufc event. |

Yeah I already have a basic idea of what I want/should put in it. :)
I def have to get more creative in the kitchen. Will be nice when I have a bigger place and more prep area. |

tonight i'm making one of my special recipes that i thought of by myself, although i'm sure it's been done before.
shredded BBQ chicken sandwiches on keiser rolls with blue cheese mayo.
blue cheese mayo:
crumbled blue cheese
mayo
worstershire sauce
garlic
make it so that it's like a paste and spread it on the toasted keiser roll and add a little pile of the shredded bbq chicken (which i make from scratch by first grilling it and then pulling it apart by hand). bbq sauce is homemade too. oh and the only other thing i do is a tomato slice on the sandwiches.
they are pretty in yum if you ask me:crazy: |

Beer can chicken on the BBQ tonight, so long as it doesn't ing rain.
1x can of beer.
1x fornication with said beer can of 1x chicken.
Might put some BBQ sauce on the bird itself, not sure yet, any suggestions? |

mix it with butter and inject it under the skin with a syringe and you have win:)
if you put it on the bird don't put it right away because it will burn:)
I am eating beer can chuck lidell tonight!:p |

Ya I usually wait until the bastard is cooked, then put the sauce on, then cook it on low for a few more minutes so that it isn't dripping.
Not sure what kind of sauce to use though, chicken can be tricky business. |

| if you have a torch put it on at the end and give it a quick burn for peking style skin. Easy bbq sauce = beer, ketchup, worcheister , cayenne, liquid smoke, molasses, brown sugar, and cumin. Just bring to a soft boil then reduce it over low heat, the fun part is you can add the ingredients depending on which flavours you like best, no need for a recipe:) |
