i dont hate it, there's just very limited dishes i like it in and it's pretty much the dishes where bacon takes center stage.
i dont like it as a topping or an accent flavor at all. too over powering.
i like it plain as breakfast food..extra crispy with eggs and pancakes, etc.. and then on BLT's and turkey club sandwiches and that's pretty much it. |

Ground turkey, brown rice, diced onions, celery, and peppers; minced garlic, paprika, oregano, and a bit of salt + pepper. edit: and an egg.
The sauce is just a can of crushed tomatoes diluted with some water and about a tablespoon or so of sugar. Really simple.
I don't usually make them with turkey mince. Usually half and half with pork and beef. |
