that was the easiest of all :D
edit with the recipe:
flourless chocolate cake:
Serves 8
6 tablespoons unsalted butter, plus more for pan
1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips (or 8 ounces chopped bittersweet chocolate)
6 large egg yolks
6 large egg whites
1/2 cup granulated sugar
Confectioners' sugar, for dusting
Directions
Preheat oven to 275 degrees; with rack in center. Butter a 9-inch springform pan. Place butter and chocolate in a large bowl. Microwave in 30-second increments, stirring each time, until melted; cool slightly. Whisk in yolks.
In another bowl, beat egg whites to soft peaks. Gradually add sugar; beat until stiff and glossy. Whisk 1/4 of whites into chocolate mixture; gently fold mixture into remaining whites.
Pour into prepared pan; smooth top. Bake until cake pulls away from sides of pan and is just set in center, 45 to 50 minutes. Cool completely on a wire rack. Serve dusted with confectioners' sugar. |

it's my favorite. i go weak in the knees at the mere mention of any cake that is both flour-less and chocolate. |

i added the recipe to my post :)
chicken divine = chicken divan. i'll dredge the recipe from my grandmother's cookbook tomorrow.
naan is awesome. naan + 4 cheeses has got to be bomb'age. |

i know trust me. i'm actually really big on perfectly balanced meals (a meat, a starch and a veggie each time) but i was just following this old cuban lady's recipe. i sat next to her on the train lol. and i had some small red creamer potatoes i needed to do something with so i made it.
i did a can of seasoned diced tomatoes and some green olives in the baking dish and seasoned the chicken and put it in the sauce/pan with the potatoes along the side. i guess i could have just had it like that without putting it over rice. the diced tomatoes and juice were good over the rice though. |
