ok i'm dead serious you guys have to try that recipe. it's so easy and it'll impress anyone you make it for, i bet you.
ingredients:
1 cup of marinara sauce (can be jarred or your own homemade stuff)
1 egg
parmisan cheese
white bread (or whatever bread you prefer)
put the sauce in a frying pan on medium heat and wait until it starts simmering and then crack an egg in the middle and just let the egg cook with the sauce around it. i threw in a couple of fresh basil leaves to simmer w/ the sauce. after you cook both sides of the egg (it's a little messy but just try to fold it), put some fresh or grated parmisan cheese and some fresh pepper and put it on a piece of white toast, lightly toasted. eat with a knife and fork. or just a fork.
omg it's my new fav recipe. i got it from a cooking mag but the part about putting it on the toast was my idea. |
