I think Jose was always a better PG coming off the bench.
His style of game is good for a bench-crew that's usually composed of high-energy guys. Having a dude with composure running the show might be a good thing, and the fact that the bench seems to be worshiping the defense mantra gives me hope that they'll cover for his obvious defensive weaknesses.
That, or we're gonna see another nice long losing streak because he can't cover a 6 year old with a nerf-ball.

aaaahhh, the good ol' boondocks. Yeah, I heard about this, some messed up . I don't know if I'm more surprised Gilbert had a gun, or the fact the other guy had one ready to draw back.

it would be nice to see the level of intensity our team played with in the last 3 minutes translate into entire game efforts.
Seriously, we should not be losing to a team, no matter how great, with 3 starters out. Disgusting.

boston showed up and knew exactly what they needed to do to beat us....they exposed all of our weaknesses, and took us out of our game. that's good coaching/scouting. I just wonder what it would be like for us if we actually had a decent coach....because the talent is definitely there....but strategy and proper motivation are what kills us...this team just doesn't play hard consistently.

Agreed. They used perkins well and pounded our bigs down low. They used house and allen running off screens mercilessly and annhilated our 2-guards.
That is good coaching, he used what weapons he had against our weak spots. But, even with that, boston played tougher around their basket, and it wasn't until the last half of the last quarter where we decided to step up pressure on the defensive end.

Glad I never made it out to Boston Pizza to watch this game. Sounds like it was a crap game. And we got SA and Orlando coming up. Guess that 5 game win streak will be erased sometime next week.
