I really hope Bosh stays. Perhaps we can sign Joe Johnson to the Raps. That would be a nice combo :D

If Bosh truly wants to win then he needs to team up with Dwight Howard.

Maybe he'd consider a sign'n'trade for Vince Carter!

;)

Anyone excited about the July 1st free agent market opening tomorrow?

So many big names available!

Amare, Dirk, Bosh, LeBron, Wade, Pierce, Richardson, Joe Johnson, Ray Allen, ShaQ, Keynon Martin, McGrady, Howard, Yao Ming, Iverson, Redd, Al Harrington, Ginobeli and Boozer!!!!!

 :eyespop:  :eyespop:  :eyespop:  :eyespop:  :eyespop:  :eyespop:

Going to be interesting and could ruin the league if these top players make the team of their choice.

I think the Knicks or Chicago get them.

he won't be back. The rumored s&t with orlando is bosh for gortat and pietrus. And I'd take it in a second. Secondly, the current vince trade rumor is vince for arenas.....a rumor which has absolutely no legs and makes no sense from a contractual or basketball standpoint for orlando.

That being said, there are so many rumors out there right now, I won't go into all the ones I've heard as I don't have the rest of the day to keep writing.

I've been hearing Jarrett Jack/Bosh for Bynum/Odom

Gortat and Peitrus would be decent (I quite like Gortat). I doubt the Lakers will deal Bynum at this point, though they do need a PG...

I'm sure everyone's read the news/rumour that Bosh is off to Miami for Beasley, Anthony, Chalmers and a trade exception (and maybe pick(s)).

at first I was disappointed...but the key to the deal would be the trade exception (and Beasley *could* pan out if the intention was to keep him and not flip him). Raps could turn around and deal someone with a smaller contract and bring back a few players...or a big name.

Phili needs a PG and has talked about wanting to deal Igoudala's contract. Golden State is looking to ditch Biedrins and/or Monta. Detroit likely needs to deal either Hamilton or Gordon...

the options become limitless with a sizeable trade exception.

whatever the Raps do...I *really* hope a legit 5 who can rebound and defend the rim ends up here so that Bargnani can *finally* move over to the 4 where he belongs. My personal choice would be Biedrins (assuming Bynum isn't being dealt)...but I don't know if that can really happen.

YES! I think acquiring Amir in the first place was such an underrated move. his potential kind of went unnoticed on a deep Pistons team...and I bet they wished they still had him now.

"Teams are precluded from announcing any signings until July 8 but Johnson’s agent, the well-respected Bill Duffy, confirmed the signing.

Johnson, who broke out in an excellent 2009-10 season, has agreed to a five-year, $34 million contract."

I have no doubt that he will prove to be worth that contract.

High price tag, but this summer, a lot of teams will be overpaying. considering Gooden got a similar deal for similar money earlier that day, so it was easy to determine the going rate.

It seems though, that BC is content to give young players money he envisions them early, as long as he can lock them up long term for a reasonable rate down the road.

Also, the signing of Amir, as well as the drafting of 2 bigs appears to solidify the fact Bosh is as good as gone.

most current rumor is Bosh has agreed to a deal with Miami and it may not be a sign and trade.....if this is the case then heads need to roll in Raptorville
