yea i'm quickly disliking Triano. His rotations are retarded. Jack obviously can't play SG no matter how much they want to believe he can. Most SG's in this league are going to dominate him because they're bigger and faster than him (case in point: Game 2 vs Memphis and Game 3 vs Orlando). Jose has always been absolutely useless on D so once again our backcourt is our biggest weakness.

Having 3 play-makers on the floor is just stupid. Keep it to Calderon/Jack and Hedo. Let Derozan or Belinelli play the SG which we desperately need some athleticism at. 3 playmakers is too much. Just like too many cooks in the kitchen. We have depth at the SG spot now and yet we're going with that moronic strategy from 3 years ago when we played Ford and Calderon at the same time. This MUST be Colangelo's doing.

I'm also noticing a clear weakness in Bagnani's game and that's that if his offense isn't there, then he's practically a pylon on the court. Doesn't cover his man, doesn't really rotate on defense. Doesn't do anything. Oh, a funny stat: he's got as many fouls as he does rebounds this season.... *sigh*

I feel bad for Bosh.

Raps looked good last night. Jack played a little better last night but the defense is still struggling.

Bargnani needs to stay hot for the Raptors to win, we'll see how long that lasts.

By mid-season we'll be rocking. It's clearly evident that this team still has quite a ways to go in terms of gelling. They're getting by right now on the sheer talent of their players. But out on the court, as a collective, they look like a team of randoms that's just been picked on the playground, so to speak. A couple things that stand out to me....

Jose is rusty as . Shots that he usually knocks down aren't falling (as expected after taking so much time off). Once he picks things back up....which I would imagine may start to happen around the 15 game mark, I think we'll be in a pretty good spot. This is also going to pay huge dividends at the end of the season when we have a lighter schedule as well.

Bargnani's intensity. He has none right now, yet he's still scoring the ball well. If he can pick up his intensity and keep the scoring going, it's going to make a huge difference on both ends of the floor. Right now he still seems like the same old lump....but he's putting the ball in the bucket.

I hope so, he's playing badly on both ends right now.

I find it really scary we're putting up 110 a game and we aren't all in sync yet.

And I still think we need more rebounding from bargs. Either that, or more Reggie.

One thing I know about the raptors is that its an emotional roller coaster of a team

cavs win, i got super pumped
memphis loss, was pretty dissapointing
orlando being so depleted was a sh**** loss too
then detroit win is a rather nice one

I think the question is if bargs can keep up the 22ppg, and average anything close to 8rpg

seriously at his size he should be getting more, I can only imagine with age his rebounding average is going to increase

it's true though, they have not built huge chemistry yet and are already getting 110ppg

Does pheonix come to toronto this year?
That is going to be a high-scoring, frenzy of a game I think!!

I'm on the fence right now.

Jarret Jack had a hell of a game against Detroit.

Bargs is looking great on offense but, like the rest of the team, seems to be lacking on D, though 2 back-to-back blocks the other night were nice.

Bosh looks fantastic out there. He's snagging more rebounds and putting up 30 points a game, plus he looks much more aggressive with the ball than I've ever seen him. He was always a good player but seemed to be timid with the ball, he's looking much more tenacious this season so far.

For a team that's still working on a gelling and getting their defensive system down, the Raptors are looking as good as I've ever seen them, though they seem to have kept that bad habit of letting 20 leads get away from them.

I'm excited to see where they're sitting after 20.

Did anybody really think Bosh wouldn't have a great year this year....I guarantee this will be his best year....which just shows me that he will be testing free agency at the end of the year.

This is to be expected. All offensively built teams are prone to big leads, and giving up big leads. Every game will be a roller coaster this season, and the management is just banking on us outscoring opponents.

lol it's actually a fun style to watch. Just like with Phoenix the last few years always high scoring. Watching Pistons games was boring cause it was really defensive andnot much excitement, same with the Spurs. Lets see how we do tonight the day after a big win.

P.S. I can't believe we beat the Hornets by that much, I loved watching the Hornets team getting mad and madder after every point and threes we got in.
