a bit early to celebrate, but a fat lead at the half over the Cavs = good news :)
Raps have a much deeper team than ever before and there's no reason to think they aren't playoff bound. How well they do beyond that depends largely on chemistry, since the team has been virtually gutted.
perhaps a make-or-break year for Colangelo because this is 100% 'his' team now. anything short of making the 2nd round of the playoffs, or maybe losing a competitive series to a top seed, is a failure, IMHO. with the other top teams in the East having made substantial upgrades, they need to not squeak in at 7th or 8th. |

I totally agree. I just hope that we can bring this much energy throughout the season, and that Bargnani is consistently playing this way. I will be one happy camper. Wait till Evans is back too more muscle :D I was actually surprised at how well DeRozen is playing, hopefully it's not a fluke, he's playing like he has something to prove which I like. |

| I'm loving the energy of DeRozan. I am really liking the transition game they have.....I think its going to be an exciting year. |

I'm glad Jamario Moon is on the Cavs sabotaging their chances. Jack up more air balls!
It's way early but I like the dynamic of this team so far. Looks like Triano worked out a solid defensive system too.
Keep in mind though that the Cavs are on a back-to-back so I'm sure they're fatigued. No excuse to lose this game. |

Lebron can have his triple double...RAPTORS WIN!
very encouraging...couldn't have asked for a better first game. lots of guys involved and good D. a bit dramatic going from 20+ up to tied...but it was nice to see them remain aggressive and confident. all the new guys looked good. |

What a game !! Raps are looking much better than last year, but still have some work to do.
BARGNANI was on fire, but he needs to stay out of foul trouble !!
DeRozan was great
Bosh did very well defensively but was a little inconsistent and lazy on offense, he needs to drive to the net more often because he just keeps missin those jumpers..
Hedo's a lil rusty but when he's back in top form he'll be a key part of our team..
Bellinelli totally surprised me, made some clutch plays!!
Calderon is Calderon, I've seen him play better but he did just fine.
I have a feeling the raps will get much better, they still have to work on their chemistry but did Great for the first game !! Don't underestimate the Cavs as they definitely have much more potential than what they showed tonight..
Let's hope for a great season from the Raptors !! |

In his defense; some of those calls were bull. |

They continue to play good defence a la holding teams to 35% shooting they'll have a good season.
Dunno how much it had to do with Cleveland playing a back2back?
How bout Cleveland starting 0-2??
Too early but Shaq, who i'll always love, is not the answer to get the Cavs to the Finals. |
