lol it's actually a fun style to watch. Just like with Phoenix the last few years always high scoring. Watching Pistons games was boring cause it was really defensive andnot much excitement, same with the Spurs. Lets see how we do tonight the day after a big win.

Yea, but coincidentally those teams won when it counted and Phoenix were perennial pretenders. |

let's see how they do against Dallas tonight.. a team that has traditionally given us trouble, esp. on the road. If they can play anything close to how we did against NO we might have a chance..

LOL!!
"Hate" is such a strong word...I don't hate the Phoenix Suns as much as I think they're highly overrated. They've been nothing more than a regular season powerhouse imo.
Who the f is Kapono?? :p
Anywho, that Dallas-Toronto game was not surprising at all. I was hoping they'd stay at least somewhat competitive but alas...this is the Toronto Raptors afterall. Let's hope they can bounce back at stick it to San Antonio. |

ugh, pathetic.
So many layups, fouls, turnovers, lost rebounds.
These guys need to put more effort out when they come on the floor. So far we've been torched by JJ Reddick, Ryan Anderson, George Hill, Matt Bonner? HAHAHHA....seriously? |

| Can someone, anyone, keep their man in front of them? Our defense looks so terrible because we have to switch so many times our players are confused as to who they're covering at any given instant. |

| Damn couldn't watch the game cause it wasn't available but damn what a high scoring game! And it looks like we were close for most of the game. |

Almost 60% from the floor all night, 11 3-pointers...and they still get torched. Only the Raptors can pull this off. Not surprising though, as going into the season it was evident that this team would have no defense (Wright is our "best" defender? that says a lot right there), and Marc Iavoroni is the defensive coach (maybe Colangelo should get Iverson to be the glue, chemistry guy while he's at it), so 120+ points from quality opponents seems like it'll be a regular occurrence this season.
What blows my mind (well not really) is that both Orlando and San Antonio were missing key players and still managed to put up huge numbers on our "defense". I'm scared to think what'll happen when we play a full strength Lakers team, or Celtics team. I think Phoenix will put up the biggest numbers against us...something like 140 wouldn't be surprising at all. Granted, we'll probably put up like 130 on them so it won't be a blowout.
As of now, the Raptors and their newfound commitment to defense thanks to Triano and Iavaroni (his position on the coaching staff really makes me lol) are on pace for the worst defense in NBA history:
- 2009-2010 - Toronto Raptors: 120.3
- 1990-1991 - Denver Nuggets: 114.7
- 1992-1991 - Dallas Mavericks: 114.7
- 2008-2009 - Sacramento Kings: 114.7
At least the second part of the season will throw some easier opponents at us, but my patience is really wearing thin. They've been talking about defense non-stop and have absolutely nothing to show for it.

RAPTORS WIN!!
I think we got lucky cause the Bulls were tired from last night's game. We did alright first quarter then it went downhill from there. |

| the bulls didn't hit open jumpers cuz they had no legs left. The defensive problems still remain. |
