no thank you.
a healthy, motivated Josh Howard? awesome. I love his game and have long thought that he's look good in a Raps uniform. he's a big SG, scores, is a good defender...does a bit of everything, really.
but...
he's coming off wrist and knee surgeries, has missed a chunk of games over the years (included last year and this year). he's also having a terrible year (one of his worst, actually) and is now on the bench as Jason Terry starts.
I *suppose* a change of scenery might do him good...but I really don't see how the Raps make that trade work and I'm not sure he's worth the risk. |

| turk for battier! houston needs a playmaker and turk will benefit with Yao down low next season. we need a smart perimeter defender that can hit the open 3. |

I KNOW!! Imagine the storm they'll get if they lost the game. Kudos to the sixers for putting up a fight |

You mean thank God for Weems and Wright as they were the ones with the clutch plays at the end. Barney hit the dagger though, props to him. He's nailed a few like that this past season.
I agree that this game was retarded. I went to the bar for the second half and by the 4th quarter I was thinking " should've stayed home and saved my money" but the raptors, as always, let them back in. This is why they're the Tier 3 team imo. They should've put this game away by mid-4th and let the bench warmers play the way through but instead they sat back and almost let Philly do to them what they did to Philly about a month ago. |

| I'm ecstatic that Reggie Evans was back and for the 5 minutes that he played he really did impact the game. Sucks for Amir Johnson though when Evans is healthy again, I really liked the way he plays. |

This is a symptom of a young team. Not saying I disagree with you, but in time, with this group of players, they'll work out that little issue.
And let's not forget the athletic, up and down teams are the ones the raps have traditionally struggled against, so philly is automatically a tough matchup.
I actually predicted the raps would fall behind early and come back, but it seems the opposite was true last night. |

Calderon and Barney hit the go-ahead buckets to put the game away. The Raptors had a very shaky 4th quarter and those two 3 pointers put an end to it, hence thank god for them ;)
Either way I'm glad the Raptors held on to win, that's been one of the big differences this season compared to the Raptors of the past, who in those types of situations would completely fall apart and throw away a big lead. I think they will get better at putting teams away as the seasons progresses. |

Two players I can potentially see coming to Toronto...
Al Harrington
or
Luol Deng
These guys seem like the kind of off the radar acquisitions that Colangelo is known for. |

They've been really good at closing out games for a while now. It's their constant pissing away of big leads that's causing me worry right now. |
