I am friendly to guys just because I value their friendship.

We are never going to agree :p

I had no idea we're so alike!

There are also lots of girls who just like guys better than girls.

They find it hard to read girls and deal with their drama. They rather spend time developing male friendships than female friendships...

Shes not looking for good seed... just a good friend or two.

Mrs. Hazard just called to advise me that she is displeased with this post.

I am sure you do value their friendship...almost all women I know have more male friends then female friends....and they all say the same thing...they value their friendships. I am not saying that a woman cannot be a friend with a guy....they can...but guys intentions are never to be just friends with a woman...never.

my roommate is exactly like that
she hardly has any girl friends because she hates all the drama associated with girl friendships and prefers guy friends

are you sure... many women claim they prefer to be friends with men because women are more difficult to get along with; however, the real reason is probably because women don't give them the attention they crave.

Some guys are more mature than that.

Some friendships are not worth ruining.

Some friends turn into family.

The end.

I am pretty sure that Mrs. Hazard would agree that we would not be friends if we were just too strangers that met each other through a mutual friend. We may be acquaintances but I don't think we would be friends. I can't imagine calling Mrs. Hazard up to come over and watch the Leaf Game.

I once had a guy write me on facebook the next day saying I was the biggest bitch in the world because I wouldnt take a few minutes to stop dancing and talk to him. Ha. ... now thats exactly the kind of guy I want to date...

Notice to guys: Don't bug the ladies while they are dancing. Also don't stare at them from the corner creeping them out...

LOL this made me laugh on so many levels. So true.

argh - I read this study a while back - wish I had saved it because I've talked about it so many times.

Women release this hormone into our system (can't remember what it's called) but it basically makes us feel attatchment for whomever our sexual partner is. Men don't release this hormone.

It basically explains why women tend to have more difficulty with separating love and sex.

If I look back through my sexual history (sorry - I'm not a virgin hehe), I can honestly say that I feel something every time I have sex with someone. I may not want to "be" with the guy - I may not even want to see the guy again... but I always feel a certain "warmth" after.

When it comes to friends-with-benefits typ'o set-ups - I think it's pretty-safe to say that it's the woman who usually gets hurt.

Regardless - I can't fack around with someone (especially more than once) unless I'm "into" them so it's basically setting myself up to get hurt because it's unrealistic of me to claim that I won't feel something more afterwards... (this is true with most women - no matter what they say: Things I've learned as I've grown up lol)

I'm way late in this thread! lol This is all bang on.....as well as everything else you've said in this thread.

It's true ladies.... I have also been told straight by guys, that guys are only friends with girls for one reason. They hope to someday sleep with you. And sure they'll stick around....and be a "good friend" for a while. But it's probably because they're trying to make you comfortable around them, enough for you to consider getting naked! LOL It's a game to them. A challenge, a conquest if u will!

Trust me when I say guys would much rather "hang out" with their guys friends..... over u.

Not to say I still don't have 'guy friends', but I am also well aware of what they're thinking or might be thinking/feeling about me, or maybe not even me, but one of my friends! Friendships with people of the opposite sex and usually complicated.... and usually lead to someone feeling misled, and hurt.

As Jennifer has said...there def. are exceptions to this. But the above is the norm from my personal experience, and that of friends as well.

Here is the problem

Guys need to be clear

How's this for clear... if he isn't a relative and he has a penis then you should presume that he would like to place said penis inside you.
