and in some cases you shouldn't exclude relatives that easily either.

LOL this made me laugh on so many levels. So true.

I'm way late in this thread! lol This is all bang on.....as well as everything else you've said in this thread.

It's true ladies.... I have also been told straight by guys, that guys are only friends with girls for one reason. They hope to someday sleep with you. And sure they'll stick around....and be a "good friend" for a while. But it's probably because they're trying to make you comfortable around them, enough for you to consider getting naked! LOL It's a game to them. A challenge, a conquest if u will!

Trust me when I say guys would much rather "hang out" with their guys friends..... over u.

Not to say I still don't have 'guy friends', but I am also well aware of what they're thinking or might be thinking/feeling about me, or maybe not even me, but one of my friends! Friendships with people of the opposite sex and usually complicated.... and usually lead to someone feeling misled, and hurt.

As Jennifer has said...there def. are exceptions to this. But the above is the norm from my personal experience, and that of friends as well.

there are also a point that a dude has assessed a girl whether she's either worth, or likely odds of boning occuring. this may be a split second or a long time in deciding...
at that point, the guy decides whether a girl is worthy of friendship or not...
Sasha
i slept with all my best girl friends and im still friends with them. I'm also friends with all my ex's.

Always go with the flow and never be scared to express your feeling, you'll be surprised how many doors you can actually open ;)

As Tara said, there's a difference between flirty and having a friendly personality.

and that is why you two are always going to be know as teases.

I disagree
if you're a tease you do this on purpose
being friendly is a natural personality trait

those who get confused do that at their own risk!

Being friendly is not a natural personality trait...being tolerant of others around you is a natural personality trait. Animals are not naturally friendly to each other.....they are friendly to the ones they accept into their social circle.

Can you please elaborate? I have a hard time believing that. We are animals, but human is a far step up from a pack of lions.

we have evolved ABOVE the animals quite a while ago, in case you didn't notice
also not everyone is a misanthrope - a lot of us are actually more then just tolerant of others

As I think about it, i get it. "natrual" is the key word. I just dont really like how it fits in the discussion, way too many variables to get off topic with.

With that being said, Funky's statement should have read " being friendly is something that now comes naturally to me"
